This beautiful 🏡cabin provides all the comforts of home. Bring the whole gang to the Life Is Good Lodge on peaceful North Long Lake (over 6000 acres) in the Brainerd Lakes Area which is known for its great fishing and recreational fun.

We have 150' of private, sugar sand beach 🏖️ with a shallow water entry - perfect for kids to splash and 🏊🏻‍♀️ swim and a level yard with no stairs to the beach!

This colorful and fun tri-level boasts room to spread out both inside and out. Perfect for extended family and multiple families.

There’s a bunkroom for the kids and 3 other 🛏️ bedrooms. The kids can enjoy their own living space with a large flat screen 📺 TV in the 2nd living area. The home is stocked with family ♟️🎲 games, 📚books, and some toys. We have also stocked it with an additional queen-sized air mattress and bedding for additional guests.

There’s plenty of space for the whole family including two comfortable 🛋️ seating areas for games, 🎬 movies, and relaxing. There’s a fully stocked and equipped kitchen with bar seating. A gas 🔥 fireplace in the upstairs living room with amazing views of the lake, a custom wet bar with seating for 6 with an additional bar seating for 4.

The home has a 🏓 ping pong table, 🎱 pool table, foosball table, ladder ball, cornhole, and plenty of games to keep the whole family entertained.

Have fun on the lake with our 🛶 kayak or stand-up paddle board. Or, choose to relax around the 🔥 fire pit and make S’mores after a great dinner from the wood-fired 🍕pizza oven.

We have a fully stocked home ready for your use:

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat

We stayed here over the 4th of July and had an amazing time. The beach area was perfection! A sandy beach with shallow water for all the little ones to play. And, we loved having two separate family spaces for when the days/nights got a little rainy. The property manager responded very quickly to any concerns to ensure our stay was perfect.

Family Christmas!

We needed a place that could meet all of our needs for a Christmas stay. This place was exactly what we were looking for; close to family, large enough to accomodate 4 couples two babies, and our family pets. It was clean, and had all the amenities you need. We enjoyed our stay very much. Plenty of space for everyone. The amenities were wonderful! We did note a few areas that needed better cleaning, such as shower tile and floor and found random garbage remnants from previous renters. However, that did not make or break our stay at all. The beachfront and lake definitely make this property! The host was great at communicating. The outside of the property could be cleaned up better but overall it was a great property. The lake is sandy and the water was crystal clear!

The best summer vacay at the lake!!

Our family had the most fun summer vacation at #lifeisgoodlodge. The house is beautiful and fit us comfortably. They have so many amenities that keep every age busy! Everything you need from baby stuff to adult fun is provided. We hope to come back again! Erin, the host, responded very quickly to any messages and ensured our stay was the best! We are all very thankful for her hospitality and generosity.

Check-in/out was a breeze. Hosts were very responsive (w/n 10 min) when I had questions. A sandy private beach area and wonderful shallow, sand-bottom area out to the lake. When the kids weren't in the shallows they were in the large hot tub or playing pool. Plenty of open space in kitchen, dining and (2) living room spaces. Clean and neat bedrooms, lots of towels for beach and for indoors.

Guys fishing trip

Rented this place for 4 nights. Lost of fishing. Water was low at the dock.....tough to get a bigger boat in. House was clean and furnished nicely. Lots of fun activities to do inside and out. Would defenitely go back!!

Perfect!!

This property was just as pictured! The cabin was clean and we had everything we could need. If you are going with family and young kids it is perfect!! The lake is shallow by the cabin, not weedy or rocky and has a great beach for the kids to play. The cabin was stocked with beach toys, lake toys and baby items. We also enjoyed the addition of the hot tub. I would definitely recommend and would come back again!

We are your hosts, Scottie and Erin. Scottie is a Battalion Chief at our local fire department in Carlsbad. Erin works in sales and marketing. Between us we have 3 sons, a daughter-in-law, and 3 grandsons! We live in Carlsbad, CA but are in love with the Brainerd Lakes area. We love to travel and utilize short-term rentals as our go-to for stays. We realize that where you stay plays a key part in your experience and we want to ensure that you have a 5 vacation.
