HORRIBLE host

I recently had a death in my family and I had family that was coming up for the funeral, specifically the father of the deceased. I booked this property for him his wife and other children. After accepting my booking and taking my money PLUS an incidental fee, THIS lady canceled the reservation at 3a.m., the day of check-in. Her reasoning, she doesn't allow people who live in the area to rent her property. I reached out to her MORE than once to explain the situation and how screwed up that was not to mention the fact that it costs over $700 to book and would take days to get that money back. Money that was needed to try to book ANOTHER place for family to stay at the last minute during an already very sensitive and stressful time. This very UNPROFESSIONAL "woman" never even responded to my messages. No care, no empathy.

Thanksgiving Retreat

This South Wedge house was just right for our family's stay over Thanksgiving. We traveled to Rochester to spend the holiday with our Eastman student. The kitchen was more spacious than pictured, and we managed to prepare a complete Thanksgiving meal. The home is conveniently located with ample parking. Our host was very responsive to any inquiries. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.

So Great

We stayed here while attending a family wedding. It was perfect, so much better than s hotel. The location is awesome, the house is bright, open, and comfortable. It ended up just being four of us here, but loved the location and being together.

Beautiful home, only minor complaints.

The home is obviously newly remodeled. Very nice and classy decor. Small yet important things impressed me, for example, quality toilet paper. They certainly pay attention to detail. My only complaint is it is close to other homes and a somewhat noisy road. There were quite a few times that I heard doors closing that sounded so close as if they were inside the house. But they were sounds from surrounding homes. The backyard and patio were unimpressive, but not terrible. I really liked the code check in versus a normal key situation. Overall a nice place to stay.
