Cottage L is part of Bayside Inn & Marina; a property consisting of 41 units including a Motel, Inn, and 11 cottages of varying sizes.

Cottage L (sleeps 8 people) is one of our two-bedroom cottages - with roomy common space with a cathedral ceiling. It is situated on a sunny knoll with a beautiful view of the lake.

Square footage is ample: approximately 700 sq ft, plus a full-length deck measuring 10 by 16 feet.

There is a double bed in the bedroom on the main floor, two double beds in the lower level bedroom, plus there is a pull-out sofa in the living room.

Great Cottage

Very cute cottage right by the marina and beach area. You can "rent" (more like check-out) canoes and kayak's during your stay. The beach area had clean sand with lounge chairs for adults and the kids loved building sand castles.

Not Worth the Money

This is literally a cabin at a motel. I did not know that when booking. The cabin was small and there was only 1 bathroom for a cabin that slept 8. The front desk person when checking in was not very friendly and there were way too many rules that they made sure they called about OFTEN despite being there very little due to the baseball games we attended daily. We also had to clean our own dishes and leave the place as we found it even after paying ridiculous host and service fees for the rental through VRBO. The floors creaked so badly that you would wake everyone up going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Oh and those that were sleeping downstairs with the two double beds had to climb a flight of stairs at night on the creaky steps to go to the bathroom. I would not recommend this place unless you are looking for a very rustic, very loud getaway.

Yes, our property has many types of accommodations as depicted in the Arial photos. Our VRBO listing states the cottage set up including the size and amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. We accommodated your 23' boat, which you didn't inform us that you were bringing. We only contacted you twice during your 2 night stay, once to tell you the proper place to put your boat trailer and again when your son was fishing off our floating docks alone, which is not allowed for the safety of him and other boatowners property. I have personally rented several VRBO properties and have always had to leave the property as I found it, including doing my own dishes, and sometimes starting the laundry. Every property is different and has their own set of rules. Regarding the fees; we do not charge any service fees. The fees are charged by VRBO and are not received by the property. It is common for properties to charge extra cleaning fees, which we do not. I suggest reading the listing and looking at the pictures for a property before booking.
