Waterfront - The Blue Heron House

Welcome to the Blue Heron House in Jamaica Beach! Enjoy the beautiful full water views from two decks, or take the kayaks out in the canal from the new dock. The house is 1400 sqft. and comfortably sleeps 8. Huge master bedroom with en suite bath, spacious second bedroom, and a sleeping area with a bunk bed. 2.5 bathrooms. Fully-equipped kitchen, open-concept living/dining/kitchen. Pet friendly! We are only few minutes drive from the beach. Free WiFi and TV streaming.
* We do not provide fuel for the gas grill. Guests are responsible for the fuel for the grill. *Garage is not available for the guests to park their car inside the garage.
*Disclaimer* - This property has only one security camera on the second upper deck and it's pointing out towards the canal water. It does not point to the deck, dock, or patio. The only purpose of the camera is to check for tide levels during major storms.

Great place to stay for a fishing trip.

The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Great location for access to the bay. Nice to just sit and relax on the swing in the evening. The affordable rate for this property makes it a first choice for future stays.

Place was just as listed. It was great and would definitely stay there again. Went on kayaks , rode the bike, caught red fish, bbq'd with the griĺl, ŵhat elese could yoy ask for. 5 stars

Incredible location, responsive host

The property is in an incredible location, right on the peaceful canal. The water was clean and smooth, fishing off the dock was easy at night with the water lights. The beach is a short walk/bike ride away. There are restaurants nearby to get a great dinner morning coffee. As perfect as the home and location were, the host was just as great. Paras was super responsive and exceptionally helpful. I would recommend this spot for families, friends or spouses on a getaway. Loved it all!

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! The views sitting on the porch swing were awesome. Very peaceful and it was fun watching the birds and the jumping fish! We will definitely be back!

What makes this property unique

The Blue Heron has been recently fully renovated throughout. The beautiful kitchen has everything you need and is open to the living and dining areas. The master bedroom is large and has both a king bed and a day bed. The en suite bathroom has a beautiful large shower. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The sleeping area with a bunk bed is between the master and living room and has doors to close off on both ends. The bunk bed is full-size on the bottom and twin on top. There is another full and half bath for guests to use. Outside we have two levels of decks to enjoy sweeping views of the canal and Galveston State Park. The brand-new dock is a great place to fish, launch kayaks or go for a swim in the canal.
