Serenity awaits you at this fabulously renovated, oasis on the bay. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath masterpiece is adorned with all new stainless steel appliances, Viking stove, marble counters, modern bathroom and kitchen finishes, plush furnishings, and much much more.

You will enjoy spectacular views from sun up to sundown on the large two-story deck. Whether sipping coffee, or cocktails, boat watching, grilling out, fishing off the deck, bird watching, or lounging on the deck, this home has something for everyone. The large, fully fenced-in yard is great for young children and pets. There is a boat slip with a lift system available if you would like to bring your boat. It offers very easy access to the main bay. We also have 2 kayaks available for canal cruising.

The inside of the home is breathtakingly beautiful. The master bedroom features a roomy king-size bed with an ensuite that houses a cozy queen-size pull-out couch. The second bedroom features a comfy queen-size bed for two. The third bedroom offers a queen bed that sleeps 2. There is also a built-in loft/daybed in the family room for additional sleeping space for 1. The home is perfect for two families, one family, and in-laws, or a girl's getaway.

The home is a short distance from the vehicle-accessible beach, where you can enjoy a day of fun in the sun! When you return there is an outdoor shower to rinse off. The Jamaica Beach neighborhood also offers a community swimming pool. For a small fee on-site, you can enjoy the freshwater while taking in the sun. You can also rent kayaks, paddleboards, and golf carts to enjoy during your stay. There is a boat slip available for your own boat as well.

The City of Galveston is full of wonderful attractions as well. Take a day trip to nearby Schlitterbahn waterpark, Moody Gardens, The Strand, or The Pleasure Pier. The duck boat tours, bicycle rentals, and a visit to Murdock's are all crowd-pleasers.

Serenity on the Bay was perfect as always

Serenity on the Bay was perfect as always! We have stayed at this home at least 4 times and have always enjoyed being there. The deck overlooking the canals is outstanding - very calming but very entertaining - always a boat, kayak, etc. passing by. Everything in the house is perfect for a vacation property. The dock is great for keeping a boat and for fishing at all hours. I am already looking forward to our next trip.

Relaxing Getaway

We have stayed at Serenity by the Bay a number of times now, and are never disappointed. The home is beautifully decorated with amazing views and is well equipped with anything you could possibly need for your stay. The owners have thought of everything. They are very quick to respond if you have any questions, and are more than willing to take care of any additional needs you might have. I highly recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed!

Great fishing location in West bay

Great location, mile from beach half mile from swimming pool and you can swim right off the deck in the canal. Nice place for a boat with its own dock and we caught specs, reds and flounder less than a mile from the house every time we fished

Great house and location

We have enjoyed this house multiple times and will continue our visits each Thanksgiving. We love the location and the house is comfortable. Only downside for us is no kitchen table and no hangers for clothes.

Serenity enjoyed!

We had a very enjoyable, comfortable, and relaxed family weekend at this lovely house. The view from the deck is awesome and the fishing was very good. Everyone, especially our grandson (age 9), had a blast fishing from dawn to late bedtime!

Home away from Home

We loved this house! It was exceptionally clean, which is the most important. The kitchen was fully stocked, comfortable bedding, beautiful and open kitchen for gathering. Plenty of seating outside. We loved the location on the water and we enjoyed the kayaks. This was our favorite place in Jamaica Beach- we will be back!

Amazing Vacation

It was a nice birthday weekend getaway with family and friends. The location was great! Close to restaurants and beachfront. This Place Never Gets Old!

This is our second time staying at Serenity on the Bay. It’s like a second home. Lots of room inside this lovely vacation home. Very clean inside and out. The patio was our go to in the morning to begin our day drinking coffee. We will definitely return.

Great getaway!

This is our second stay in this home and we love it! The house is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. There is an upper and lower deck that faces the water and it is so relaxing. We had a good time using the kayaks. The beach is a very short drive and the outdoor shower was nice afterwards. The area is beautiful and very safe. We will be back!

Absolutely perfect!

The house is a dream! It was everything we wanted and more. Kitchen was perfect and well stocked for a thanksgiving feast. Communication with the property manager was quick and friendly. Zero complaints here...hoping to visit again next year!

This is our 2nd time staying in this beautiful home. We have stayed in numerous homes here in Jamaica Beach and hands down our favorite. Home is decorated just beautifully, upper deck is a great place to relax and the back dock is perfect for fishing. Love that there is fenced in yard for the kiddos and the long long driveway made if fun and safe for the kids to ride their scooters and skateboards.... We will be back next year and staying here for sure!

Relaxing weekend in a beautiful house

This was our second time staying here and definitely not our last. The house is beautifully updated and has most everything you would need. There are two things that really keep me coming back to this house- an air conditioned stair case and a bottom deck that is shaded in the afternoon sun. These will make your trip so much more enjoyable!

The Peaceful Cream House on the Canal

The house gives you a taste of life on the water with plenty of sunshine and a peaceful view. The neighborhood was respectful of each other's space and the quietest environment one could ask for; especially during the July 4th weekend. The pictures are true to what you will experience. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with tasteful décor. The water is super hot so if you have a big group then everyone will feel the heat. The living room with the extra reading nook are comfortable and board games are provided. The kitchen is lovely with the supersized island and professional stove that all cooks would enjoy. The balcony provides you with a view of the canal from 3 vantage points. With an oversized swing and kayaks below to wrap up the amenities of the lovely home. If you are looking for a place to get away then this is the rental you need. Also about a mile from the house going East you will find access to the beach that is private with a little walk from your car, so be sure to have a wagon to tote your stuff.

Perfect for our multi-generation family vacation!

We had a lot of "wants" in looking for a family vacation out of state. We weren't sure of a canal rental vs gulf front but were very pleased with the wide canal location. Loved the 2 kayaks where you could explore all the canals or paddle out to the gulf. We flew so we didn't have everything we wanted so we did purchase things locally like fishing gear, a hammock, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. which was well worth the money spent. The open & airy first floor was a delight, everyone loved the cozy bed built into the wall for naptime! Two nice sized bathrooms, and 3 smallish bedrooms with the master bedroom having a sofa sleep in a little nook of the room. During the hot days we spent our time on the ground level deck since it was cooler and the second floor deck when things were cooling down. There was a small fenced in grassy area which our twin 4 year olds enjoyed. Just a very short drive was an entry for the 13 miles of the beach and you could park on the beach so we just kept all needed items in our car so it was very uncomplicated. So we ended up with the best of both worlds!

Best canal views in Jamaica Beach

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Perfect for a weekend getaway with two couples and a small pet. The outside view offers expansive views of the canals not just a speak of one piece of the canal and a neighboring house. We enjoyed the patio. Plenty of shade and sun to choose from ample furniture and fantastic sunset views. We come to Jamaica beach at least once a year and never stay at the same house, however all of us agreed we plan to visit this house again. Thanks!
