Got an upgraded room instead of this room

Let me be clear. The room I am reviewing is not this one. We went to check in and the property gave us an upgraded room. Sounded great at first until we walked in and found out it was one giant room instead of two separate rooms like we originally booked. Tried to go back to the front desk to request our original room and they could not give it to us. I just wish they would have called to confirm it was okay to give our room away vs forcing us to stay in a room we did not book. Our baby had to sleep in the bathroom to avoid extra noise which meant anyone in our group that had to use the restroom while the baby was sleeping had to go outside and walk to the front lobby. Just wasn't what we were intending on doing.
