Come enjoy a very private pet friendly lakefront home with stunning views of the lake from every room. Enjoy a cup of coffee/tea on the dock watching the sunrise in the mornings. The large deepwater dock is perfect for all water activities. Large spacious dock with a ladder and amazing views of the lake or star gazing at night. A stainless steel grill is available for all of your grilling needs. Vacation home comes with fully equipped kitchen, with a K cup coffee maker, air fryer, toaster oven, microwave, dishes, pot & pans, cooking utensils and silverware. Home has internet & wifi, and a TV in every bedroom. Bed linens and towels are furnished. A washer & dryer are in the home. Located between Hickory and Statesville NC, 15 minutes from I-40, Walmart and restaurants. 4.5 miles from Oxford Park with walking trails that leads to the river. A large dog kennel is the perfect place to keep your fur babies if needed, while you're out enjoying the lake.

***The dock is currently not accessible at this time. The nightly rate has been adjusted because of this. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

NOTE: 1 Pet under 50 lbs... $25 per night, over 50 lbs...$40 per night. Please check the pet box when booking.

Awesome property, awesome location

Just finished our stay—had a wonderful time! The property was very clean and well appointed; exactly as advertised. Superb location right on the water, and the kayaks were in great condition and a very nice added benefit. Katherine was very responsive; we hope to stay there again in the future!

Perfect getaway for Thanksgiving

Since our daughter (who lives in Charlotte)was not able to come home to PA for Thanksgiving, we came down to NC. It was a lovely house - perfect size for a quiet holiday. Beds were very comfortable. I can see how this would be a beautiful getaway in the summer.

Everything was very clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed the coffee bar. Just sorry we were not there just to rest and relax. We were working on property we bought in Taylorsville most of the time.

We had a perfectly quiet vacation! Needed to stay longer ! We will next time...Great fishing from the pier also. Not much boat traffic ,we pulled our float around,took a lot of pictures and videos ;-)))

Perfect country lake experience

We had a wonderful stay at this lake front property. The owner, Kathy, was outstanding to work with and was very amenable to questions and changes we had to make because of the tropical storm. Nice house!

This home was really nice for a visit near friends. Katherine and Greg were very responsive and answered all questions. Had a very minor miscommunication about check in instructions but it was fixed immediately. The house is clean, comfortable and has all modern conveniences. Would stay again if we’re in the area.

Great place!

This property is very nice but the hosts are amazing! We had to make a last minute trip to see a family member who had a need this Christmas. The host was exceptionally nice and helped meet needs that we had for our last minute trip. The view is exceptional and we even enjoyed the kayaks that were on the property. Amazing Lake House

Private and beautiful lake house! Fit our family of 6 perfectly! Dock was awesome for holding our boat and for the kids to swim and play off of! The property and house were very clean. The lake was quiet and we had it all too ourselves. The owners were very easy to work with and went above and beyond with tons hospitality! We will definitely be back!!

Peaceful Lake House

Wonderful home on the lake. This was home away from home for us. This home was very clean, fully stocked, comfortable beds and perfect amount of room both inside and outside for extended family members to visit us. The deck has an amazing view of the lake! The dock was so much fun to hang out on and swim at. Katherine is an amazing host! She answered all of our questions promptly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful place to stay as we visited family.

Great Property!

We are proud to be the first renters of this location. The property was outstanding! This property was very clean and completely stocked with everything & I mean everything. We were totally impressed. We have never stayed in a location that was this prepared for renters. The location was also private, quiet and the views of the lake were very calming after a long day at work. The property managers communicated well and responded promptly to our questions. Lovely Lake House

My family came to the area to visit my son who is now living in Moorseville. I was looking for something that we could all enjoy that didn’t leave us looking for something to do. This was a lovely lake house. The dock is large enough that we were all able to sit and catch up. The lake area wasn’t overly busy with boats. We swam, kayaked, laughed, and generally had a fabulous time. The host answered all our questions and was available once we checked in for last minute things. The beds were also very comfortable. We can’t wait to return.

Fabulous Place

We arrived on Thursday to this wonderful little cottage in the country just a few miles from the town of Hickory. The first thing we noticed was just how quiet it was here. The cottage was so comfortable and homey. We loved the basement in fact decided to sleep downstairs. It was one doorway to the outside and especially the lake. That was the best part of the entire trip was the lake. The owners had supplied 2 kayaks which we used all day. Unfortunately we could only fit in 3 nights but we will return soon.

It was a little hard to get into the house, but the owner called me and explained how to get in.

There were a few things that weren't cleaned, but the owner had a neighbor come over to clean quickly. One TV wasn't working, and we had no propane to cook out with, and the neighbor came right over and handled the issue. We didn't know that there was no bathroom or even a half bath on the middle floor, which had the kitchen and living room, and the bathrooms were on the bottom floor and the top floor, which had the bedrooms. That was a little inconvenient. Overall, we loved the house.

A Wonderful Visit!

We had a delightful getaway at this beautiful lake house. The comfort, charm, and serenity offered here is ideal. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the stunning lake views and tranquility of the surroundings. The house was impeccable clean, wonderfully comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We made countless wonderful memories here, whether it was having morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake, spending the day fishing, boating, swimming, enjoying s'mores around the fire, and an evening in watching a movie. The setting provided by the host is fantastic and it provided us the perfect backdrop to unwind, reconnect, play, and make new memories! I want to also appreciate the smooth communication and all the helpful information provided which made our stay even more effortless. The host's attention to detail did not go unnoticed and is very much appreciated. We left the lake house with our spirits uplifted and our batteries recharged. I can say without a doubt that we look forward to the possibility of returning in the future. Thank you again for providing us with such an exceptional home away from home!
