Enjoy your private, eco-friendly 8-acre luxury estate right on one of Eleuthera's famous Pink Sand beaches. Helios House is all about comfort, the extraordinary beach and vivid panoramic vistas, with the entire front of the house facing the ocean, 100 ft of glass. The house has been enjoyed by Matthew McConaughey, who stayed when he was filming Fools' Gold on the island, James Caan and Albert Finney amongst others. The Main House has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms, a very large living/dining and entertainment room, a fully-appointed kitchen with large dining table, an outside kitchen with grill, the table tennis patio and the Helios Gym & Spa Cabana with exercise machines and a massage table. One of the bedrooms in the Main House is a bunk room for up to 6 guests in three bunk-beds, with two en-suite bathrooms. In addition, Helios Tower has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large living room with kitchenette, terracing and an observation terrace at the top of the tower. Lastly, Helios Cottage has a studio living/bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette.

Helios House is situated on a sand dune elevation, providing expansive views over the beach and ocean from the house. It is surrounded by terraces, patios and the infinity pool; lush, mature tropical gardens; and the Helios organic farm. The Helios Estate has been designed to be as eco-friendly as possible and is powered by its own solar power farm. In addition, all rainwater is harvested. It is very well appointed throughout, with excellent broadband, extensive entertainment (Cable TV, Netflix, DVDs, books, puzzles and board games), Sonos throughout the house to play your own music, plentiful garden and beach furniture, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards and much, much more. In short, Helios House can be your own private resort paradise for an unforgettable holiday..!

In summary, the Helios Estate consists of the Main House (which sleeps 14 in 5 bedrooms, including the bunk room), Helios Tower (which sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms) and Helios Cottage (which sleeps 2 in a studio bedroom). Guests rent the Main House and have a choice of adding the Tower and/or Cottage depending on how large their group is and how much accommodation (up to 20 guests) they require. The Main House rents for $12,250 per week for up to (and including) 8 guests, plus $50 per additional guest per night. Helios Tower can be added for $2,400 per week and Helios Cottage for $1,200 per week. Please enquire for a more detailed explanation as required.

Family vacation with 5 generations

What a wonderful stay - property was beautiful, house manager went above and beyond--when power out she insured that the solar was working properly, even helped to facilitate a longer stay when our flight was canceled and we stayed an additional 4 days, Shirley was fabulous as well. This is definitely the place to check out and enjoy family time.

An amazing home in a perfect location

Bertrand is the perfect host. Our family had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful home. The Atlantic Ocean beach is perfect with just enough wave action for body surfing. Kayaking was excellent. The house itself is just wonderful. We had the first family vacation in 3 years and everyone had a splendid time. The house made the vacation. The manager Taricita is excellent, and was very responsive. MIss Shirley did an excellent job of housekeeping. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The Burdsall Family.

Perfect getaway for our extended family

We were looking for a quiet, clean and warm location for a family member's birthday and the Helios House turned out to be the perfect location. The owner had thought out all the details for a relaxing stay including music, games, movies, table tennis, beach furniture...etc. The swimming pool was beautiful and the beach was relaxing and empty. The night sky was filled with stars. There was an option to have a cook but we chose to cook on our own. A few recommendations: fly into Govenor's Harbor, research the grocery stores/farmer's market if you plan on cooking on your own and have an idea how to get to the home from the airport.

Paradise in Eleuthera

We were wowed by the amazing views and the the property. We went kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkeling. We relaxed under the shade of the large cabana and swam in the infinity pool. Everything we needed was there. The expanded open floor plan allowed ALL to enjoy meals and games together. Tarahita our house manager was welcoming and helpful. We took Bertram suggestion and enjoyed Valentines Boat excursions. Would highly recommend. Also Tippy’s Restaurant nearby. The home is starting to show some Wear and Tear. Staff is aware. We would highly recommend. We made so many memories.

Big accommodating property

Had a great stay with 10 guests! House has AC throughout & cooled efficiently. Large open floor plan with many sliding glass doors, which allowed you to shut off areas, if desired, but yet have beautiful views from anywhere! The pool (although we had to request a cleaning) & areas around the pool were great. Had plenty of lounge chairs. It is 130 footsteps from the kitchen door to the beach - not steep stairs, so the climb was not bad at all.There were a few things that we had to work with, that I’ll mention, but they would not stop us from returning to this property: gas stove did not heat like gas usually heats, took a long time to boil water, for example; water pressure was fairly weak & had to space out our showers for hot water; light bulbs out here & there; could’ve used someone to clear beach area each morning of seaweed that came in every night. We were told the beach cleaner guy had quit, so maybe he needs to be replaced.We will return!

Home rundown and terrible owner

The plumbing, showers, bathrooms were inoperable. No concern from owner. Ice maker broken. Leaking roofs! The housekeeper and house manager were amazing and it’s unfair that they have to be the middle man between guests and owner. We asked for a partial refund and he said no.

Even better-appointed than we imagined

Helios House is phenomenal. We loved everything about our stay. The house is even more beautiful and well-appointed than it looks in the photos. A few additional things you might be wondering about: * Housekeeping: they come Monday, Weds and Fri, and it's included in the price of the rental. We had Shirley and she's a sweetie. * Every bathroom comes with soap and lotion, and the shower has a soap/body wash combo. * Dish soap was provided * There are plenty of spices in the kitchen. * There are multiple coffee makers and even a milk frother! The kitchen is incredibly well-appointed and has everything you need to cook and serve a large group. * The pool was a bit chilly, so if you need it heated, you might want to contact the owner in advance. I'm thinking it was around 75* F, but can't say for sure. * The ocean was a bit rough a couple of the days, but most of the time it was calm enough for little kids to feel totally in control. * The reef just outside the house wasn't all that interesting. There are definitely some fish hanging out, but you'll find better snorkeling/scuba diving where the waters are calmer. * The bunk room is downstairs and has 2 full baths with shower. Enjoy your stay at Helios House. You'll never forget it!

Another Magical Stay!

This was our second trip to Helios House and it was just as amazing as before! We were a large party of 11 and had plenty of space staying in the main house. Shirley is a delight and kept the house immaculate. Chef Josh (JD's Catering) provided the best dinners. We love how well stocked and equiped the house is. The kids had plenty of beach toys, snorkels, boogie boards, SUPS and a Kayak. The house is so perfect we rarely left!

Amazing week in the Bahamas

Perfect for our eclectic group

Perfect house for three families for a week getaway. Kids were able to share the bunk room and adults were able to have privacy upstairs. Always great to have a pool and the ocean in case the waves are rough. Shirley, the housekeeper is absolutely divine and so helpful giving insider tips on where to get food, fresh fish, and other things we needed for multiple birthday celebrations. Absolutely a fantastic house and we hope we can go back although the calendar looks very full!

“Absolutely Breathtaking “

As a frequent traveler my fiancé and I are used to setting our expectations lower due to fancy photography and misleading information as not to be disappointed when we arrive to a property even big resorts tend to stretch the truth a bit. I chose Helios house to celebrate my 50th birthday with family and friends mostly because it was one of the largest properties I could find at a reasonable price since I was treating my group as a gift from me for their many years of love and support and had budget to stick with. When my group arrived and we met Galen the manager on site Let me tell you Helios House is everything it describes it is and more !!! And the photos don’t do it justice. Everyone in my group was amazed at this property from it expansive living spaces to it common areas. There was 12 in our group and we could have hosted more people had they came along. Galen the manager was a big help with finding things we needed in town and once you figure it out navigating the area is easy. The house had everything we needed from silverware to cookware serving dishes etc. Shirley the housekeeper was a wonderful woman very sweet and accommodating she was great. Not much I could say other than we are already planning a return trip to Helios House ASAP. If I had one complaint to give and it is really a minor one the road/driveway entrance and path to the house could have better signage but was only an issue when first locating the house we will never forget how to get there again. Thank You Helios House for making my 50th Birthday celebration a memorable one. Leon & Lisa

I highly recommend the Helios-House. We found the home better than advertised. Bertrand and Irene were both fantastic and responded to all inquiries quickly. The home and grounds are well maintained and the beach is beautiful and very private. We only saw a few people walking the beach all week. The home and cottage were large enough for our party of 12 and Irene's cooking should be a must for anyone using this property. Every meal was amazing. Amazing house, magical vacation!

I would highly recommend staying at the Helios House! We stayed there with 13 members of our family and all fit comfortably in the main house. The location is ideal with the patio and pool outside the house and the beach a few steps down the stairs. Irene cooked amazing dinners for us - I would highly recommend her! Shirley kept the house clean and always had a smile on her face. I want to go back tomorrow!

This place is truly paradise!

Helios House is a beautiful place to vacation with a group. We stayed with friends for a 50th birthday celebration. Bertrand is very attentive and responsive to emails prior to your arrival, so you feel comfortable. The house manager, Nicki, met us at the house and went through the details and home. The housekeeper, Shirley, was wonderful and took good care of us. A sweet lady. Our Chef, Irene, was perfect. I would recommend getting a chef to reduce your shopping, cooking, and cleaning time! We were truly able to relax at this paradise! Some other reviews had cautioned that it is slippery around the pool area and this is true - so, do be careful. It is easy to get to the beach. There is a nice Cabana on the beach to hang out and we only saw 3 other people for a short time the entire 8 days. You do feel like this beach is yours. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because we had some issues with the pool and not being able to use it for a couple of days. A large storm came through and caused it to become murky. We did notify the house manager, but, she stated they normally treat it once a week so it did not get treated again. I have notified Bertrand of the issue upon return and he was very responsive to fixing this problem in the future. I feel sure that if you are a guest there, it will be taken care of right away. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Seven AMAZING days...

.. or as our kids said.. "do we have to go home?" We had an incredible and relaxing family vacation at Helios House. Centrally located this absolutely stunning estate was the perfect base to explore Eleuthera. Close enough but not too close to shopping and some really nice restaurants. Eleuthera has many nice beaches but we constantly found ourselves retreating back to "our own" beach in the afternoons. We literally had the most incredible beach in front of the house completely to ourselves every day. Kids loved the pool which got a lot of use and with a view like that it was easy for dad and mom to play lifeguard. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Most perfect spot in Eleuthera

Helios House fit our family of fourteen in the three units very comfortably over Christmas and New Years. The living room dining, entertainment area and kitchen were very spacious. All the outside sitting and lounging areas were great for large get together and yet enough private areas to be alone and read. The Infinity pool and patio was extraordinary in size and views of the Atlantic. The grounds bushes and trees were well laid out and the swaying mature Palms were mesmerizing on the eyes. The pink sand beach went on forever and looked like we owned it all. No one else around. The owner and property manager were very friendly and accommodating to all our requests. We dove down in Rock Sound area and it was great. Tippys bar and restaurant was real close (order fresh grouper and Lobster tails were huge). Cracked Conch at Buccaneers Club was super tender. Banks Deli had great baguettes and cheese and pate. The Cafe Market on Banks Road was a good deli too. "Gourmet Pizza in the Islands is not NY Pizza so we made our own in the Helio House outside Pizza Oven (bring water from Brooklyn). We will be back.

Absolute seclusion. Completely amazing.

The house was better than we thought, Niki the housekeeper was great, and the house itself was clean and had a great location. The entire property including the pool, beach, and surrounding area, was 100% private!! The beach out front was probably the best on the island, from the few that we saw. Had the best week ever! I just can't say enough about this place.

Beautiful house, on the best beach in Eleuthera

Helios House is not only just off the best road, Banks Road, in Eleuthera, it's on the most perfect, pink sand stretch of beach. The house grounds are beautiful - old growth palms and grass and gardens. The house is classic - wide open and breezy, with tons of space in the main house and 'tower house'. All mod cons including Apple TV in every round and a wicked Sonos sound system. Beautiful and big pool for the kids and great outdoor pizza oven/BBQ. Best of all are the staff, including Angela, who is so welcoming and warm - best Gnocchi anywhere! Great swimming and snorkling right off the beach. Really can't say enough how fantastic this place is #paradise

TRULY AMAZING!

The Helios House is a beautiful tranquil retreat. Upon arrival, I was in awe, the property is magnificent. We were greeted by Angela, the Chef, who gave us the grand tour, she is great! Angela cooked for us numerous times...her food in incredible! She also shopped for us before our arrival, Angela is a wonderful asset to the Helios house!!!! The home is very well taken care of, it is clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. It offers every thing we could have asked for, from every kitchen gadgets to towels to beach chairs. The kitchen is large enough for 12 to sit and enjoy meals, there are plenty of dishes, utensils and glasses, we also took advantage of the outdoor pizza oven. We used 6 of the 7 bedrooms which are spacious and over-the-top comfortable, the bedding is to die for! The bathrooms are well done no need for blow dryers they are provided as well! There are plenty of high quality bath towels too. The Tower and cottage are as well stocked as the main home. This beautiful home has a 180 degree view of the Atlantic Ocean, you are just steps away from the soft powder sands of the enormous beach. The pool area is perfect with a great lounging space, perfect for eating, relaxing and reading, there are many patio and seating areas to choose from. The pool itself is incredible.... relax, float and enjoy the view of the mighty Atlantic.

Helios Heaven!

We stayed at the cottage at Helios House, for 8 days, the Main and Tower Houses were occupied by the owner and family. We had full use of the pool and beach, the cottage was fully equipped, although we missed a full sized refrigerator we made do with a cooler. The view was impeccable! The "staff" at the house, made us feel more like family than guests, we didn't want for anything!! We loved our time in Eleuthera! Thank you Angela, Brandon and Shirley!

Singing Sands Bay is one of the most beautiful, private and secluded Pink Sand beaches on Eleuthera. Helios House is at the center of the bay, with the most extraordinary beach right in front of it. The colours of sea and beach have to be seen to be believed. The house is very spacious and comfortable and has been designed to be sustainable, powered by its own solar power farm, with full rainwater harvesting and a wonderful organic farm.
