We had a wonderful stay at Hillside East! The property was beautiful, comfortable, and had absolutely gorgeous views of Anchorage. Andrew was a fantastic host and was very responsive throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. There was also a beautiful patio and outdoor space that would have been perfect for relaxing—we just spent most of our time out exploring everything the area had to offer! We had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend Hillside East to anyone visiting Anchorage.

Beautiful mountain chalet! Loved our stay here. Great location in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views of the Cook Inlet/Anchorage. Clean, cozy, rustic with modern amenities. Very close to Glen Alps Trailhead. Host Andrew was very communicative and goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

Family stayed for 10 days—6 adults. Home was great with a wonderful view. Host was responsive to our needs—checking in early, finding a place to go for a dental emergency. Very flexible with arrival and departure details.

Absolutely AMAZING

First time to Alaska and we picked the best place to stay. It was so nice and just outside of town enough for some privacy but still convenient. The house is super nice and comfortable. Very well stocked. Andrew was great at responding to any questions we had. You won’t be disappointed if you book this house. 10 out of 10 would stay again!!

Beautiful Frontline Chalet

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s wonderful home. The house was great with updated everything!! All was beautiful from the well outfitted kitchen to the beautiful comfortable bedrooms and updated bathrooms and wonderful views from the front deck. Andrew responded to any questions very quickly and was a great host. We had fun watching a visitor we had one evening (a moose) and enjoyed the beautiful flowers that were growing in the yard. We will definitely be back to stay at this great house in a great location!

Awesome Anchorage views.

Beautiful Anchorage Home. We spent the last few days of our 2+ week Alaskan vacation in this Chalet. Spent our evenings on the deck of this home enjoying as much time as we could soaking up the views. The home is spacious and very well appointed. We had a small challenge when we first arrived but it was addressed with the owner who was most gracious and professional. What a wonderful place to end our wonderful Alaska adventure.

This is a great home in a beautiful location. The home was clean and the bathrooms were stocked with necessities. It worked well for three couples. There are stairs to go up to get to the entrance door as well as to access the home once inside, but was not a problem for us. I highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Anchorage area. Thank you Andrew for sharing your home.
