Our extended family rented both sides of this wonderful duplex for our weekend. We had just spent a full week on a cruise and it was so nice to relax, grocery shop and pull ourselves together for our land portion of our Alaskan adventure. Lisa and her husband were so gracious and responded quickly to messages. Their home was perfectly outfitted for our 3 generations. This was the perfect place to stay while we were in Anchorage. The photos are accurate! This home is very clean, spacious, and very convenient to various activities we had planned (day trip to Whittier, Turnagain Arm, the Musk Ox farm in Palmer, etc.) There were four in our party and there was room enough for all of us to move around or hang out together when we wanted to watch a movie. The bedrooms were all very big with large closets. The upstairs bathroom was huge with two sinks and a laundry area; Lisa provides laundry detergent, which we were thankful for! The downstairs bathroom also has a stand-up shower, which was handy.The area was quiet, which is surprising as the home is so close to so many amenities. Fred Meyer (awesome store!) is just up the street (Dimond Mall), as is the gas station, lots of restaurants. A great home to stay in while taking day excursions and coming back to relax and unwind! Lisa was a wonderful host, very responsive to our questions. Thank you, Lisa, we enjoyed ourselves very much!

Family trip to Alaska

Our family if six stayed in the home for a week. The house was comfortable and a perfect layout. The location provided easy access to stores and anything we wanted to do. The homeowners were helpful and quick to respond with any questions.

Wonderful start to our vacation

This VRBO is in a quiet neighborhood yet close enough to stores, gas stations and restaurants so that was convenient. The duplex was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms and had plenty of room. We had a minor issue with the TV and the owner responded quickly and solved the problem. Would stay again!
