Great Family Vacation

We had an awesome small family reunion in Edisto Beach this year and the Seabiscuit was out HQ. It was a great layout and 2 blocks from the beach which was a nice 3 minute walk. The home was in great shape overall and had everything we needed. The linens/towels were folded in bags for us ready when we got there and they provided enough paper goods for the first day until we were able to go to the grocery store. Great experience.

Nice family beach getaway!

The house was great for us. Nothing too fancy but it had lots of beds for everyone in my family of 6 and guests to pop in and visit and stay. The only thing that was a pain for me, being a mom of 4 was having to make all the beds upon arrival. It’s a great location to the beach also. The outdoor shower was nice to have but doesn’t have drainage so the little kids ended up getting eaten by mosquitoes back there.

We include the linen/bed making information in the pre-arrival email in hopes to avoid any surprises upon arrival. We do plan to add bed making to our arrival services in 2024. The new owners have some additional improvements scheduled for the coming off-season so we will certainly pass along your comments regarding the outdoor shower drainage. Even though the listing advertises it sleeps 12, it in no way is a comfortable sleeps 12 with only 2 small bathrooms. On arrival, the house was dirty. We found a bag of opened white claw cans in the closet, huge dust balls over the entire house floor, and chewed gum on top of a dresser! We immediately had to call maintenance on arrival because the front door knob was broken and had to be immediately replaced. The refrigerator is very small for the size home and has NO ICE MAKER!!! The freezer didnt even include the ice cube trays!!! We will never book our stay at this home again.
