Great Stay in Saranac Lake

We slept 8 adults and two children comfortably. Two bathrooms and laundry facilities were a plus! This charming cottage met our needs, and we will stay again if we are in the area.

Nicely appointed inside. The only complaint was the master shower faucet really needs to be replaced says my plumber husband!

Nice location and fire pit

I enjoyed the stay. The house worked well for us. The trash was full outside so we couldn’t put ours out. The faucets in the shower are horrible and in one bathroom there was a molded spongy mat. We loved the fire pit. With the exception of the couple of things it was great!

Nice and accommodating

The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

Amazing Stay

I was in town for a wedding with my brother and son. My communications with the host were all excellent. So easy to find and get checked in. When we arrived the property was better then expected. The host truly has made it feel like home! All 3 of us really enjoyed our stay the place was so comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we are going to try to plan anpthet trip in the fall to enjoy the foliage. Thank you so very much! To anyone hesitating on booking, BOOK IT! You will NOT be disappointed!

Clean property. Bed mattress really confortable! The kitchen is small for 8 persons! Near our hikes. Walking distance from city center! We really appreciate!

Cute cabin

Need to let people know that the back "bedroom/office" has no insulation or heat. Thank goodness we did not have to use the room. Need a new shower handle in the master bathroom - very difficult to turn on/off. Beds were very comfortable. Overall was a nice place.

Cozy little home

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy little home. We did however think that this home was a little more secluded than it actually was. It also was a little crowded in parts of the house. That being said, I loved that this house had everything provided and the host was very easy to get in touch with and always responded in a timely manner.

A wonderful holiday stay!

This house worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids to celebrate the holidays. The house was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated for the holidays. The beds were very comfortable with lots of warm blankets. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The location worked great too. We enjoyed walking into downtown Saranac Lake, and it was an easy drive to Lake Placid. The only insight I'd give to people considering this property is that while there was plenty of bed space for the nine of us, there wasn't enough space in the kitchen for us to eat together. It really didn't bother us, but if you are looking for a big kitchen table for sharing a meal or playing board games, this house would be best for a max of 5 people. Overall, though, I highly recommend Mama Bear's Cabin!
