Welcome to Charming North Cottage! Just two short blocks to lake access on beautiful Higgins Lake! Completely renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage with rustic charm that is sure to make you feel comfortable and cozy. Close proximity to South Higgins Lake State Park (2 miles), Dollar General (1.9 miles), and Forest Dunes Golf Course (14 miles). Higgins Lake is a year round destination known for it’s water sports, hiking/cross country skiing trails and ATV/snowmobile trails. Charming North offers clean and comfortable accommodations. The house features a fully stocked kitchen (including crock pot, blender, toaster, and panini press). The bathroom is stocked with fresh towels, hand soap and shampoo/ conditioner in the event you leave yours behind. Both bedrooms have brand new, queen size mattresses with plush toppers. You will also find a full-sized washer and dryer in the basement for any laundry needs you may have.After coming in off the lake, kick back in the comfortable living room, screened in porch or lounge in the “glasshouse”. The house is equipped with central AC and heat for year round comfort.

The back yard is quaint, private and charming. The highly sought after neighborhood is quiet with beautiful roads for walking. Situated on a double lot with a new, large driveway for ample parking. Free WIFI, smart TV (bring your login for your favorite streaming services) screened-in porch, fire pit, Weber grill and more! You will find Charming North Cottage nestled in a quiet neighborhood among other cottages and houses on the South side of Higgins Lake, MI. Wildlife are plentiful and are often seen through the expansive living room window.

Access to the entire house and property is yours with the exception of one locked, small cabinet (cleaning supplies).

The property is situated on a double lot which allows for extra room and privacy from neighbors. The outdoor space adjoins a wooded, vacant lot (also part of Charming North Cottage)

Lake Access - house is two blocks from Higgins Lake via public, road-end access. A kayak or paddleboard can easily be launched from this location.

Public Boat Launch - South Higgins Lake State Park, 2 miles away.

The Cut River Grille is a short 1.6 mile drive from the cottage and is an excellent spot for dinner.

Gerrish Township Park - a lovely park just down the street that offers a children's playground, tennis courts and picnic areas.

South Higgins Lake State Park - fantastic and expansive swimming beach and boat launch - just 2 miles away

*A starter supply of paper towel, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, trash bags and dish soap will be provided.

*Guests should supply their own firewood.

*Yard games, board games and a large, rolling cooler are available for guests to use. *Large driveway will accommodate up to 4 vehicles OR two vehicles with trailers.
