Little Bear welcomes you to a true up north experience in our lake front getaway with sandy shores and private lake access. The entire property is completely renovated inside and out & has heat/air conditioning. You will be staying in the cabin and lower level of the main house but don’t worry, no one will be occupying the main level while you visit! While visiting you will be enjoying the private sandy beach, 220' of dock, swim platform, toys/yard games, two kayaks, two paddle boards, a jet ski available for rent & boat mooring rights for your entire stay. Look over the lake eating dinner on the expansive terrace complete with seating/eating area for 12+guests! Jet ski rental available upon request!

Welcome to our personal oasis! Please come and make yourself at home in our 1940s era cabin. We purchased this property as our personal "up north" retreat in 2015. The property, known as "The Oaks" was a prominent Higgins Lake destination for decades, offering families respite from the city life at beautiful Higgins Lake. Of the 6 original cabins, this one remains today, which we have completely modernized for you!
What makes this property unique
Little Bear welcomes you to experience a true up north feeling in this 1940s era knotty pine cabin that has one bedroom, one bath, living area (with pull out couch), & kitchen/eat in dining. The cabin is completely renovated & has heat/air conditioning, and private sandy beach, 220' of dock, swim platform, toys/yard games, & boat mooring rights for your entire stay (TV Netflix /Disney). Our main home behind the cabin is unoccupied during your stay! Inquire about the additional main cabin rental (sleeps 5 more).
