A TXBeachVacation.com home - The Zoo is perfect for entertaining, family reunions, holidays and corporate outings. We are located in Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar, Texas.
Two homes (Hippo Hut and Gator Getaway) are side by side with a walkover connecting them. The homes together sleep 27. Both homes feature oversized fully stocked, large breakfast bar with seating for four, dining area have seating for ten. Living areas are spacious and tastefully furnished, Smart TV’s throughout, quartz countertop and stainless-steel appliances.
HIPPO HUT
Master bedroom had a King size bed, built in shelves in the closet and 65” Smart TV.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed, built in shelves in the closet and a 65” Smart TV.
Bedroom 3 has Twin size bunk bed with trundle/hide away bed and a Full-size bed, built-in shelves in the closet. This room has a 55” Smart TV
Bonus bunk room has two twin size beds.
Two Full Baths (Master has huge walk-in shower, second bath tub/shower combo).
GATOR GETAWAY
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, built-in shelves in the closet, and a 58" Smart TV.
Bedroom 2 also has a king-size bed, built-in shelves in the closet, and a 58" Smart TV.
Bedroom 3 features a queen-size built-in bunk bed with built-in shelves in the closet.
Bedroom 4 has a full-size built-in bunk bed with built-in shelves in the closet.
Bonus bunk room has a full-size built-in bunk bed.
Three full bathrooms. (Master bathroom has a large walk-in shower, second bathroom has a walk-in shower, and the third bathroom has a shower/tub combo).

Items we Provide: Limited amounts of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, trash can liners towels and linens.

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s trip with our family. The host was fantastic—great communication, and the home was clean and well cared for. We loved the on-site activities like pickleball, cornhole, volleyball, and the fire pit, plus the easy walk to the beach just down the street. The adjoining decks made it perfect for our large group. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Perfect for large group

Great location. Was one of few places available for the whole family (24). Very clean and well supplied and lots of things to do outside. Was worried about the littles going back and forth between the houses upstairs but the porches and walkover were very safe. If you are part of a large group, this place is hard to beat

Friendcation 2025

We enjoyed the stay, we had so much room for all of the kids, was safe and the kids where able to go to house to house easily. The only downside is the mosquitoes are terrible at night and not able to sit outside for long. Having bug zappers upstairs would be awesome. We donplan to book there again! So much extra stuff at the home to use as well really helped everything run smoothly.
