Fool of a Took! The first of our four hobbit holes is inspired by Pippin, and has all the charm and whimsy you'd expect. The gray, silver and blue tones harken back to Minas Tirith and the nearby sea. A king-sized bed, spacious shower and cozy bathrobe are just a few of the comforts you'll enjoy during your stay. Unlike Aragorn, we know all about second breakfast! We have four unique hobbit holes in our Shire. Walk through the round door and you’re in your very own hobbit hole. You’ll have the sitting room (complete with wood-burning stove), kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom all to yourself. Four windows let in plenty of natural light, and the 11-foot ceilings make the whole place feel open and airy. Every detail is designed to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Aside from your room, you’ll have access to the fire pit and walking trails on our property. In short, our home is the only part of the property notavailable to guests. I’m around for anything you need, even if it’s just another player for a board game! I’ll carry your luggage to and from your room and deliver second breakfast. Your job is to enjoy yourself! We’re surrounded on three sides by a 1000+ acre cattle ranch, so we have wide open space and very little light pollution. Catch a sunset, and stay out to watch the stars! Burney Falls and Lassen National Forest are an hour away, and other opportunities for outdoor adventures abound. See our AirBnB guide book for some ideas! You’ll need a car to reach our rural 40-acre property, but we’re right off Hwy 299 and less than 15 minutes from Interstate 5.

One of the most wonderful stays we have had! The property is gorgeous, and there are breathtaking views of the stars at night. The hobbit holes are well-designed and otherworldly. The hosts are extremely gracious, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely be staying there again.
Great little place. Clean and quiet. Pet friendly. Included breakfast cooked homemade fresh ingredients. Host was friendly and on property to keep up with guest needs. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area or passing through.
