Problem with hot water and hot tub but respond was quick to fix problem. One of the two units we stayed in had locks on bedroom furniture bathroom cabinets kitchen cabinets and pantry. This is ridiculous in my opinion to pay over 15k and be denied access to furniture to put clothes in, store food etc. I own a condo in orange beach al and do not restrict my visitors from anything in the condo

One of the things that makes our homes unique is that they are individually owned and lovingly maintained by families who spend time in them themselves. Many owners choose to reserve some locked storage for personal belongings while leaving additional storage for guests. In return, guests in this listing enjoy amenities that are uncommon in investor-owned rentals, such as 2 EV chargers, a dedicated ski tuning station, premium kitchen equipment, and other thoughtful touches that reflect how the home is enjoyed by its owners. Had a great experience. Easy walk to lifts. Lodges were very clean and keep up well. Hot tub worked well and was clean. Host got back via text messages quickly. Check in and check was very easy. View was fantastic. Would stay again next time I visit Mammoth Mountain.

The house was good but the cleanliness should have been better. 3 of 5 families experienced itchiness during the first night sleep and had to shift the bedroom to avoid possible bed bugs. The host was promptly to get a pest control technician to get the bedrooms inspected. The bed sheets and linens were stinky in my bedroom and had to change them later up on requesting host. The cleaning crew head is rude and arrogant and very disappointing, Finally, the last day while loading stuff in the cars, we realised one of the cars was bear broken and we had to request for an extension of 1 hour to accommodate the repair of the car as we had to travel 5 - 6 hours with kids. Unfortunately, the host denied the request multiple times as they had another booking and cleaning schedule confirmed. At least, the host could have worked with the cleaning team to adjust the timings to accommodate 1 hour late check in. We are disappointed towards the end as we really had to rush to repair the car, check out the room in such a short span of time. The host is prompt to respond and accommodating the requests for most part of our stay. Overall, it’s a good house but cleanliness can be better. There are no trash bins in the bed rooms.

Great mountain home for big group!

We had a large group of runners getting ready for the Mammoth 50k race. This was the perfect spot for us to do group dinners, relax in hot tub after the race, sleep many people, etc. Would rent again!

Amazing stay from start to finish!

My whole family + kids (total of 14) loved our time there. The communication from the onset and even after the trip was seamless and comfortable. The location was central to everything we needed. Beautiful place in the perfect location

We had such a great long weekend stay at Mountainside 2 & 3. It was the perfect place to accommodate our large group of all ages. Having the two units adjoin made it feel like we were all together, but it was also great to have separate spaces. Being able to easily walk back and forth throughout the day between the place and Canyon lodge was also great. Both units were well stocked with all the essentials, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Great communication beforehand, during our stay and at check-out with ownership, making things very smooth. Looking forward to booking again on a future trip!

O.G.s Ski Trip -- Good For Large Groups

We are a group who meet up annually for a ski vacation and have stayed in virtually all of the 25 largest mountain resort areas in North America. We typically look for homes on or near the base of the mountain with a minimum of 6 bedrooms and 12 beds. This is not always an easy spec to meet but the combination of the two townhomes at Mammoth met our criteria. The location is excellent -- you could be closer to the Canyon Lodge as it is a few hundred feet out the door. This was great for varying up departure times for the members of the group and having an easy place to meet for apres ski and walk home. One of the two hot tubs has a good view looking right up the mountain and the pair of hot tubs accommodated ten men. The property manager was very easy and efficient to communicate with and offered us a 75-minute early arrival without charge -- which was greatly appreciated as it coincided with our arrival time. Having two kitchens initially seemed like a negative, but we set up one side as the food kitchen and the other side as the bar -- it actually worked great! We also ended up using one townhome living area for the "quiet retreat" and the other for the hang out area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were more than adequate but nothing exceptional. As you can see from the photos, this is not a super high end home, but exceedingly functional and convenient. Notwithstanding what is likely a lot of hard use by large groups, the townhomes are maintained well.
