After a day of skiing or shopping and dining on Main Street, come home to this comfortable and affordable studio condo at The Prospector. Great in-town location, only 1 mile to Main Street. 5 Minutes to all 3 ski areas. A variety of restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. A seasonal pool and year-round hot tub are on the property and free for guests.

This condo is completely remodeled with flat panel TV, slate floors in kitchen/bath, granite counter-tops, gorgeous cabinets, stone fireplace, and more! Everything is all new. It's beautiful, and is truly a haven after a long day in town or on the slopes.

This condo sits in a perfect location in Park City. Close to everything: 5 minutes to Main Street, all 3 ski resorts. Park City's free shuttle stops at the property to deliver you anywhere in town. This is a Sundance screening location too!

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Don’t want to take out your own trash? Our housekeeper will take it out for you for $10 per bag. Large dumpsters are located at the end of each parking lot.
Leave the parking pass in the room. There is a $25 replacement fee charged by the development for lost tags.
Keys can be left in the room, or in the drop box by the building exits.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please, no long-term rentals (over 30 days) during winter (December 1- April 1)
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation more than 11 months in advance.

The fireplace got extremely hot after we turned it off, and when I contacted the host, he told me it was impossible. He also failed to disclose construction and wet paint in the winding hallway leading to the unit. We would not have stayed there if we had known about the construction, wet paint, or malfunctioning fireplace. Instead of getting in an argument when he told us our sense of touch and perception of heat was impossible, we left the property after two hours and asked VRBO for a refund.

We’re sorry for your negative experience. We didn’t question whether you thought the fireplace glass was hot to the touch, we just questioned when you said you “thought it would explode”. As I explained to you, the glass does remain warm because of the pilot light. The painting started a week early or we would have let you know. As it was, the painting was done in the hallway and wasn’t noisy, so we didn’t feel that it would affect your stay inside our unit.

Perfect for our family

Great location for a week long ski vacation, super close to Park City, Canyons and Deer Valley and within an hour from the cottonwood canyons. The place was clean and had great amenities. Hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing.

Great place to be for skiing

We stayed at the condo for seven days and it worked great. Convenient, great, hot tub, and the bus picks up right out front for the ski slopes. House is responsive and worked out great!

Super cute little condo! Very cozy and has everything you need. If for some reason it doesn't, there's plenty of stores within walking distance. My only suggestion would be to have a larger quantity of shampoo and bar soap available. I have a lot of hair and would have used the entire little bottle had I not brought my own. But overall, this was a fantastic experience. The bed was sooooo comfy! The building itself could use a few more updates, but the individual room/condo is up to date and perfect! I didn't have any need to use the stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc. But if I had, I would have been set! I also stayed when it was warmer, so I didn't need to use the adorable fireplace. I did test it out though, and it puts off a lot of cozy/comfy heat. I will definitely have to stay during the winter next time. I'd also like to explore all the hiking trails nearby! So much to do and see!

The Prospector is simply one of the best locations in Park City! Close to everything, on the bus route, dining and shopping in the neighborhood....it's perfect for vacations. And since we are Sundance Film Festival lovers, this was perfect. We were introduced to this property while attending film screenings held on-site.
