Cute little one bed room located in trendy Lakewood/Lyon Park. Minutes from Duke!

The unit is newly renovated, brand new granite kitchen counter tops, new tiled bath room, hard wood floors, new furniture, comfortable memory foam mattress, new plumbing, electrical, mini split air conditioning/heat, fiber speed WIFI, smart TV, off street parking for one car in driveway.

PLEASE NOTE: We are offering several identical listings on the same street. Pillows, rug, paintings, etc. subject to change.
The space
This cute little one bed one bath is in a quiet neighborhood, it’s brand new inside with wood floors. Bed is new, queen sized.

The home features a small office desk/chair, couch, smart TV (log in using your Netflix, Amazon, Google account). In unit washer/dryer and laundry detergent provided. Iron and ironing board available.

Coffee, tea, fresh towels and linens, kitchenware provided. WIFI internet access.

Kitchen has pots and pans, utensils, spatulas, spices, Brita water filter, coffee maker, toaster, microwave.

3 minute drive to Duke
17 minute drive to RDU airport

Please park in the driveway to the right. Please enter from the front porch and use the door on the right. Please download August Home app prior to your arrival and sync with or message us your cell phone number so we can give you access. A hard key will only be provided in emergency situations.

Please note there is one step onto the front porch. Once inside, everything is on a single level. There are security cameras on the outside corners and front porch.

Very clean an updated

It was a very clean, just renovated inside property was easy to get into. It’s in a fairly decent location to get to downtown Durham. I will definitely stay there again if I need a place to go if you’re looking for something clean and small this is a place for you.

Perfect place for a weekend retreat!

Had a wonderful weekend in this spacious duplex! Loved the clean and open space. All the necessities were provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Loved the large kitchen and living room! Whole place was clean and comfortable in a great location! Would stay there again! Host was communicative and easy to work with!

This home was exactly what I needed for my stay in Durham. The proximity to Duke, great food, downtown Durham, and the Durham Bulls Athletic Park made for a fun stay. The home itself is clean and the neighbors were welcoming and wonderful. I utilized the work space, and was more than comfortable with that furniture. All of the furniture was high quality and made for a welcoming environment. I would stay here again, without reservation.

Very clean, minimalist environment.

Our stay here was just ok. It is truly an efficient minimalist experience. It was very clean and we appreciated the coffee. The bed was good, but bring your own extra pillows if you prefer sleeping on more than one,as there were only two pillows and there were two of us. Also, no extra blankets that we could find.If you are sensitive to fragrances, please know there were many different artificial fragrances in the house. It truly hits you very strongly when you walk in the door. From scented trash bags to very scented sheets… if you’re sensitive, this would be very offensive. Scents so strong that everything we brought back home smelled.In addition, the description says one step entry however there were a total of 16 steps to get into the house. And the driveway is a bit of a mess. We arrived in the rain and there were potholes and lots of mud and a very difficult time with the very steep driveway. No option of parking on the very narrow, crowded street.Ductless hvac in the master is quite loud when it turns on…the house is small enough that you can turn it off and the unit in the front of the house will be ok.What we thought was very steep, A 250 deposit was required. I had to message the host in order to get it returned when it didn’t post back to our card after a week of waiting. He said it should have posted but that he would have to put it through manually. He did so promptly but if I didn’t pay attention would I have ever received it? No outside pics on site.
