About this property

Kesa Mokki - Summer Home

Summary:
Kesä Mökki , meaning 'Summer Home' in Finnish, allows one to reset both body and mind in any one of the multiple spaces around the property, allowing yourself to recalibrate and enjoy the peacefulness of the space around you. Read a book, listen to music or enjoy the sounds of nature. Swim in the refreshing water, play games and laugh. Kesa Mokki allows you to experience it all. A place to call your 'Summer Home'.

The Space:
Enjoy a camp fire, telling tales and laughing, reminisce and creating new memories. Cook a meal on the campfire, boil water for corn.

Kesä Mökki is a beautiful, waterfront summer cottage. The main cottage has an updated kitchen and 2 bedrooms - each with a queen bed. We have plentiful outdoor spaces to relax at and enjoy nature. We have a private dock on the Gull river which has refreshing swimming in the summer.

We provide 2 kayaks and a paddle board for your enjoyment.

The Neighborhood:
This is a quiet cottage community and association respectful of one another. Everyone has fun, but doesn't get carried away. Everyone knows each other, so say hello. No racing on the cottage road as there are lots of people, children and pets also enjoying the day.

Other Things to Note:
Always be guided by the regulation in the municipality of fire regulations. Keep the fire small with water close by and a way to control it. Always be mindful and respectful of your neighbours. Sound carries and after a long day a good sleep will get you ready for your next adventure.

Bringing a dog is allowed, we charge $50/pet.

Beautiful property. Loved the different outdoor spaces and walking trails. Home is cozy and host thought of everything. Really enjoyed getting out of the city for a few days and enjoying some quiet time by the river and taking in the nature.
