I love my cottage because of the chandeliers, the gardens, and the snorkling on Gull River,. Coboconk is 1.5-2hrs from Toronto. Kawartha Lakes is beautiful!! The cottage hosts art supplies, lifejackets, 2 canoes and 3 kayaks. 1 man's canoe, 1 ladies, and a child's. The cottage has 2 bedrooms. The 1st bedroom hosts a double bunkbed built by my Great Uncle William in 1955. The 2nd bedroom hosts a double bed. There is wifi, a new galley kitchen, new insulated roof, tv, porch, bbq, firpit, 2 docks, and 3/4 acre of Cedar trees. There is an indoor bathroom and also an outhouse. The fishing on Silver lake hosts Small Mouth Bass, Sunfish, Large Mouth Bass, Catfish, & Pike. There is lots of parking and town is 5klm away. The town of Coboconk hosts a Foodland, Hardware Store, Chip Truck, LCBO, a Marina, Buck & Up, and other local shopping. Water shoes are highly recommended, and snorkles and flippers are a must to bring! Fenelon Falls & Bobcaygeon are close and fun to explore!

Thank you for all your creative ‘betterments’ you made at the cottage, and also for the Moonlight gift. It was a pleasure to host your stay at the cottage on Gull River!
We hope to see you again!
Blessings!
Stephannie
Wonderful experience. Our host made sure that we had everything we needed and more. Experiencing the river and wildlife was amazing. Please make sure that you bring water shoes as, otherwise, getting in for a swim, canoe or kayak experience can be challenging. Love the Kawarthas!

Beautiful classic cottage with surprises at every turn. The deck is my favorite place where i had romantic breakfast in the morning and i hug the peaceful starry sky at midnight. Love it.

Thank you so much! Please come back anytime to the peaceful Gull River, Coboconk, Kawartha Lakes!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The artistic touches throughout the cottage are so beautiful . It was such a treat to have a dock to walk out on and spot the adorable frog family hanging out by the canoe. The surrounding cedar trees are stunning, offering plenty of shade. Even during a 42 C heat wave with the humidex, I stayed cool at night thanks to the abundance of fans, the beautiful riverside setting, and the natural canopy. I also loved how the cottage was arranged and decorated; it felt cozy and welcoming. The kids also loved the nearby go-kart racing track!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cottage over the long weekend. The pretty dock on the little island was such a lovely place to relax, especially near sunset. We took the kayaks and the canoes up and down the river, enjoying a refreshing swim upon our return. In the evenings, we played cards, and sat around the fire, before watching a movie or two. The reading nook and the art corner were very cozy and welcoming. It was a wonderful stay, and I am so glad we found this cottage. Will certainly need to return another time!
Great time, great experience and great host! We were greeted by Stephanie and shown around the property. If we had any questions throughout the trip she quickly responded to us. The day before our check out, Stephanie offered us a later check-out without asking since guest were not arriving. We had so much fun swimming and relaxing on the dock. Water shoes are a must! We would definitely return to this spot.

The river is really lovely - there is a bit of a current making the kayaking really fun. We came for Thanksgiving weekend, so didnt swim, but we might come back next summer to try that out. The cottage property is well developed, with neat little sitting areas, decks, solar lights and an awesome boat launch. The cottage is stuffed with activities and anything practical you might need. There's a new outdoor shower. The property is obviously loved and well cared for. And yes, it is whimsical!
