All about the location!!
Small, cozy cabin, right in the middle of the avenue of the giants! It is located just off hwy101(far enough the traffic noise is not an issue). Just minutes to get onto the avenue. Cabin has everything you need for a short&quick stay. Would Def stay here again. Neighbors but quite spot. The few issues i had were addressed right away!!!!!

We moved from the city to Humboldt County more than 8 years ago and have developed a deep affection for this beautiful place. Exploring the majestic redwoods, enjoying the river, and engaging in activities like kayaking and paddleboarding bring us immense happiness. We are thrilled to welcome you as our guest, hoping you will have the chance to discover the wonders of this area and embrace it as we have. Welcome to the Redwoods!

Why they chose this property

The allure of our chosen area lies in its rural charm and its close proximity to the breathtaking beauty of the majestic redwoods and the river. Our town is nestled within the Redwoods State Park, allowing us to relish the tranquility of the redwoods while still being conveniently located near town for a quick coffee run. This balance grants us the best of both worlds: nature's peaceful serenity and nearby amenities' convenience.

What makes this property unique

Our property offers a truly unique experience due to its exceptional proximity to the Avenue of the Giants, River Access, and an array of captivating hiking and biking trails. Moreover, the historical significance of our cabins adds an extra layer of charm. Originally located downtown along the Avenue of the Giants, these cabins were displaced during the devastating 1964 flood. They were miraculously rescued from the floating cabins on the Eel River and relocated to our property in 1965. Some walls still bear traces of mud insulation from the floodwaters, but rest assured, we have made extensive upgrades to ensure your comfort and safety. From electrical and plumbing renovations to fresh paint, we have taken numerous measures to enhance your stay in our retro cabin amidst the enchanting redwoods. We hope you thoroughly enjoy your time here.
