This was a great place to stay for two nights while my daughter and me participated in a soccer tournament over the weekend. It was close by and convenient to Cedar Point as well as the Sportsforce park. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for 4 people and it was nice to have a kitchen. We had a great stay overall.

This was a great place to stay! The house is exceptional with character and Dawn has done a super job stocking it to meet all of your needs. Just have to make a trip to Kroger for groceries less than 10 minutes away. She was very responsive to the couple of questions I had. Reasonably priced. Scoop it up when you come to Sandusky. You will enjoy being here.

Excellent host, the pictures may have you feel like this is the home but those aren't updated. This house has all new everything and down the street literally from everything. Quiet neighborhood and it allowed my family to bond more as I work so much. I want to plan something else staying in that exact home.

We stared 3 nights for a volleyball tournament. Upon arrival there were a decent amount of small ants in a couple of different spots in the kitchen. They seemed to be coming out of gaps in the walls and we had to get rid of many of them. The owner was immediately responsive and indicated that there was some spray under the sink and we used it. Additionally the owner indicated she would come the next morning and spray more which she did. There were quite a few little plastic ant traps around the kitchen so it was clearly a known issue. We continued seeing ants in the kitchen throughout our stay. The owner was quick to respond when I messaged and she offered a free night for a different time but I had said that we probably wouldn't use it. I asked if alternatively we could get some discount or partial refund for having to deal with the ant issue and I never heard back regarding that question. The house and location worked well for us other than having to deal with the ants. Beds were comfortable and front porch was nice.

It has rained many days in April and the ants nests are drowned. They start looking for another place to nest. After I inspected the foundation of the house i found and sealed a few cracks where they could have come in. It is difficult to thoroughly spray while a guest is staying at the house with their items and food all over the house. I would rather be more cautious and not spray by your stuff. The winter rates you enjoyed were extremely low and offering you another night in peak season seemed more than fair for your inconvenience. I can not control mother nature and the rain. I leave ant traps in the kitchen for preventive purposes as most folks do.
