PLEASE NOTE: LAKESIDE HAS GATE FEES FROM MEMORIAL DAY THROUGH LABOR DAY. If you are new to Lakeside, please acquaint yourself with them before booking.

We have loved Lakeside for 40 years and we are happy to offer our place for you to use responsibly. The price listed is for up to six people. For eight people and an up charge, the Great Room can be opened up where there are two twin beds. Also in the Great Room there are 2 reclining sofas, a fieldstone fireplace with gas logs, and a large screen TV. Price for the added Great Room is $1660 Weekly. (The pictures showing the fireplace, twin beds and red sofas are shown here but, again, that room is for extra rental, not basic rental.)

Without the Great Room there are three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and one with a full size bed. The Master BR has an en suite and there is an additional bath that serves the other two bedrooms. There are room air conditioners that are able to manage the square footage. There is a relaxing sun room, a dining area, well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and gas grill.

If you have been to Lakeside you know the relaxing atmosphere it offers. If you are a first-timer, be sure to visit LakesideOhio.com to explore what this gated community has to offer. THERE ARE GATE FEES TO BE INSIDE THE GATE FROM Memorial Day THROUGH Labor Day, so be sure to check it out. Also the seven day minimum stay applies for the IN-season only - June through Labor Day. Off-season, two night minimum stay.

Peaceful retreat

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage. It was convenient to everything, clean, and the perfect size for us. We had plenty of room in the bedrooms and lots of areas to relax. I will definitely stay here again!

This is a wonderful house to rent. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The owner is great at communicating. We highly recommend you consider this home while visiting Lakeside.

Lakeside vacation

The owner Stephen is friendly and easy to communicate with. The cottage is the nicest one we have rented at Lakeside and we have been coming for years!! You won’t regret staying here.

I enjoyed this beautiful home last February, so wanted to take my Grandkids to enjoy. We had a great visit. Unfortunately the pool wasn't open too cold. Also wascshocked about a 256.00 Gate fee as in February no fee. I felt like the amount should of been disclosed. I would rent this home again, as its a beautiful place & owner was always in touch when I asked him ?? LOVED IT, HOPEFULLY NEXT VISIT WILL ENJOY THE POOL TOO!!

Relaxing Lakeside Getaway

This cottage was the perfect place to stay for a short getaway to celebrate my parents’ anniversary. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It is walkable to Lake Erie, where a beautifully landscaped path added to the peaceful stroll and amazing views. Short drive to Kelley’s Island ferry and Marblehead Lighthouse. We would definitely book again in the future!

Lakeside Get away

This is our 3rd time staying in this house. Working with the owner, Steve, had always been pleasant and easy to deal with. The house has all the comforts of home. I highly recommend staying in this house! You won’t be sorry!

Perfect layout for family in perfect location

Wonderful stay in this lovely cottage! Impressively clean, with very thoughtful touches throughout. The layout was also perfect for my kids (early risers) to sleep in bedrooms set apart from my husband (who is a light, late sleeper). The sunroom made for a great gathering place for me and kids (7 and 4) while my husband worked on his laptop from the other side of the cottage. WiFi was strong from the desk/living room and allowed my husband to take video meetings. Bathrooms organized with spare toiletries to use in a pinch, which was so kind! I made meals in the well appointed kitchen, efficient layout and lots of countertop surface for meal prep and stashing snacks. Excellent, perfectly central location within Lakeside! Highly recommend for family of 4!

Truly Wonderful House

Third year in a row staying here and wonderful every time!

This lovely cottage is very centrally located. Just a few blocks from the main square and lake. It is very neat and clean and has everything you could need. The sunroom is awesome for relaxing. The host is super helpful and communicative. Lakeside is an absolute gem!! Especially if you have kids, it's truly one of kind for all the games, swimming, art classes, playgrounds, live music, etc. This is our third year in a row staying at the same cottage!

Well maintained property with a surprising amount of space. A wonderful gathering room for the whole family at night. And enough kitchen space and utensils if you like to cook. And I do. The Lakeside Chautauqua setting provides ample opportunity to walk and explore. A short drive to the picturesque Marblehead lighthouse. Neat place to be.

This cottage meet every hope and exceeded our expectations in many ways. We stayed from a Saturday afternoon through the following Saturday morning. It is VERY clean and the furniture is really comfortable. We chose to cook "in" 4 of our evenings; the kitchen has everything you could ever need and the natural gas grill was utilized and appreciated. One key to our enjoyment was the cottage's location,, location, location.......just a short stroll to Hoover, the lake itself, restaurants and all of the activities. Great value!
