A wonderful place to stay at Lakeside (and we’ve stayed at a handful)!! Their cottage was spacious, clean and comfortable - a true home away from home with everything you could need readily available. The proximity to Cherry Park & the pool is great! We also enjoyed getting to know the lovely neighbors who played their guitar each evening on the porch. We have two toddlers and were nervous about the lack of a bathtub - but you can totally make do with the kitchen sink and first floor shower. Thanks for all the Lakeside memories!

This cottage was the perfect place for our traditional family week at Lakeside! The kids loved the location (right across from a park) and the cottage was clean and comfortable!

Perfect Lakeside Retreat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our first Lakeside experience. This cottage was very clean, roomy and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was spectacular. We will definitely come again!

Fantastic Family-Friendly Getaway by the Lake

Brian and Jaclyn's place served as an amazing "home base" during a long weekend vacation for myself, my wife, my brother, and my mom. Both Brian and Jaclyn were communicative throughout our visit, and the home itself -- which is inside the gates of Lakeside -- served our needs perfectly. It was our first family vacation in some time, and we hope to be back again soon!

Family fun

11 of us went aged 8-74 and had a great time! Location was great, across from a park and an easy walk to the center. Cute house with lots of charm! Very clean and inviting. Brian was wonderful to work with. We love Lakeside and all it has to offer.

Lovely Lakeside Home

The accommodations were perfect for my husband and I and 4 grandkids. Everyone had their space. The owner was very responsive and made sure we were going to have a great stay. Plenty of dishes, cooking tools grill, etc.Loved riding bikes and also walking to parks. We rented a golf cart and highly recommend that. We’d stay here again if we’re up this way!

Fantastic and great place to stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house had absolutely everything we could have needed. It was very clean and well appointed. It was so cool to be in a historic district house for the weekend. We especially enjoyed the back patio, fire pit and loved it they they provided bikes and scooters for our use. House is close to downtown shops and food. The host was was very helpful in answering questions and providing suggestions for our day activities. We will definitely be back next year!

The property itself is a sweet little early 20th Century house with a park across the street and just two blocks from Lake Erie. All that is good. The downside is that it is in Lakeside, a Chautauqua village that sees itself as a resort. We knew there were fees for staying at the house as it's within this community, but we were sticker-shocked by the 647.50 for the three-day stay for us five adults and our one vehicle.Truth is, if you would make use of the amenities, huge pool, tennis and pickleball courts, concerts, lectures, etc., it might be worth it. But we were there for a family reunion and spent almost no time at the house.The owners mention the passes in their description, but there would be greater transparency if they listed the price of those passes, or at least a link to it, within the property description.

The scooters and bikes were add for my boys and having access to use the golf cart really was a nice perk. The back room with daybed and futon that closes off into its own space was perfect for our two older kids to have a spot downstairs that was theirs so they didn’t have to worry about tip toeing around their younger toddler sleeping cousins upstairs.

The property was very nice inside with obvious updated interior, spacious, and incredibly clean. The kitchen was very nice and well-stocked with everything we needed. House was supplied with sheets and towels which was very much appreciated. The host was highly responsive. Location is great between lake and pool, and having use of the bikes on the property was fantastic. Highly recommend for a very comfortable stay in Lakeside.
