lovely waterfront location, spacious home, walk within minutes to grocery store, boutiques and restaurants in addition to boardwalk thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Great location… easy to walk into town and to the park in the other direction. . Beautiful property with easy access to the river. Enjoyed relaxing and watching the sailboat races and seaway traffic.
The place was lovely inside and is as shown on the listing. The lawn is like a deep green carpet. Sitting on the deck and watching the sail boat races was a treat.
Do not hesitate to book this little piece of Heaven! We were six adults and 3 children between 4 and 7, we had the best time there, it’s even better than the pictures. The owner replied within a minute every questions we had. Will definitely return!
Some of our family members stayed at this beautiful home when visiting Brockville for my grandson’s baptism. The house was even more beautiful than pictured, and very well furnished and equipped. We also enjoyed the central location, just a short walk from downtown. I’d love to stay there again and would recommend to others.
The house is spacious and beautiful. The riverfront views are gorgeous. The homeowners and very friendly, helpful, and responsive. This was my second stay and I would definitely book again!
This property was located right in the heart of Brockville. We walked everwhere we needed to go....groceries, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions. Although it was tough to leave the house as it was so beautiful. Highly recommend as it is lovely to watch the river life while enjiyong your coffee in the sunroom/ deck/hottub. Loved it!
It is a beautiful stone house , situated on the St. Lawrence, with the most amazing flower gardens. Multiple exits at the back, with lots of different seating areas to enjoy the view. Or enjoy the hot tub with a constantly shifting view. Really enjoyed the flotilla of sailboats, near sunset, on a flat calm river. It doesn’t get any better. The accommodations themselves were accurately described in the site photos. Lots of areas to be alone and quiet. Likewise the kitchen, dining room, and sun room were beautiful gathering places. We will be back.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this property! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how much more beautiful it was in person than the pictures could capture. The house was spacious and elegantly decorated. Not only was the aesthetic stunning, but the cleanliness was impeccable. It was obvious that the owners care deeply about maintaining the property and providing a top-tier experience for guests. The location was also ideal, offering a perfect balance of privacy and easy access to local attractions. Whether we were lounging inside or exploring the area, it was a great base for our trip.We would absolutely book this property again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable, worry-free getaway!

5 Stars All Around
We had 6 adults and 2 children on our trip to Brockville and this property was definitely a highlight of the trip. Its clearly a historical home with a ton of character and the additions to the original have been completed with care and attention to detail. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are nicely furnished, the bedrooms upstairs have air conditioning for those hot summer days, the basement has a great TV space and awesome Pub-Styling w/ a bar and pool table. The patios and hot tub are amazing, the dock is a great place to spend an afternoon swimming and sunbathing, and the landscaping is second-to-none. The views alone could make this a five star property, but add in everything else and it will truly blow you away!

Loved our stay! Would rate it 4.5 stars. Location excellent, home amazing.
Note: our grandkids however were a bit too young (4 of them under 5 years) to put alone in the kids‘ bunk room in basement- thought bunk room would be upstairs with adults near by. Parents took turns sleeping in bunk room. Overall a good weekend.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback, Laura! I’m thrilled to hear that you loved your stay and enjoyed the excellent location and amazing home. It’s great to know that you had a good weekend overall.
I appreciate your note regarding the bunk room situation. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with their little ones' sleeping arrangements, especially with young children. Your feedback is valuable, and I will ensure that we clarify the layout of the home for future guests to help them make informed decisions.
Thank you once again for sharing your experience. We hope to welcome you and your family back for another memorable stay in the future!
The stay was wonderful because we always make the best of it recommendation of a TV on the main floor difficult to go up and down in the basement when you are elderly .also somehow the basement was very cold and taking long to warm up I when to many Vrbo over the year with fully daily home supply this one was lacking home everyday supply for the size of the house and for 6 people plus to be recommended .

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We are thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful stay and that you always make the best of your experiences. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the TV location and the temperature in the basement. It’s important for us to ensure that our homes are comfortable for all guests, especially those who may have mobility challenges. Regarding the heating issue, we understand how frustrating it can be when a space takes longer to warm up. We want to make sure our homes are cozy for everyone, and your input will help us improve that experience. We also appreciate your comments about the daily supplies. We strive to provide a well-stocked home for our guests, and your feedback will help us assess our inventory for larger groups. Thank you again for your insights, and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Incredible location
My wife and stayed here for a couple days with our two children and a group of friends and had a blast. The place was spacious and very well maintained. Clean, very clean. Brockville has a ton of stuff and everything you need is nearby. You can't beat the location/setting. Right on the water with a beautiful view, the hottub was magical, and dock to hang out and fish on. My son caught lots of fish. Very cool history to the place as well. Its 200 years old but also feels modern. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a proper getaway. I'll definitely be booking again, our family loved it.

Gorgeous Getaway
I stayed at the Riversise retreat with my family for Thanksgiving and it was amazing. This house has everything you could need. Stunning views and a beautiful waterfront. The beds were SO comfortable and the rooms were cozy & perfect for our group. The basement is incredible for the chilly Fall evenings where we played pool and the kids watched movies on the massive T.V. The home is in the best area of Brockville (as someone who is from Brockville), and so close to the downtown core. Everything is a 5-10 minute walk, shops, grocery store, parks, etc. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful house on the water
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and even extended for an extra (5th) night.
This home is set in a very beautiful location and is exactly as shown in the listing.
This is a very quiet residential area and is perfect for a relaxing stay.
The town is in walking distance with all that you need for supplies, restaurants etc.
The only disappointment was the check-in process - purely due to incorrect information provided by the property manager. However, the owner was quick to rectify this and went above and beyond to make it any enjoyable experience for us.
We wound definitely recommend this property and if we are in the Brockville area again, would definitely return.
I hesitate to write a review because I'm looking forward to booking in the future and dont want it to be taken.
We has 2 families staying there. 4 adults and 6 kids. The space was large enough for both families to have space. The kids loved staying in the bunk room and both sets of adults were happy with the bedrooms. All the bathrooms were comfortable, clean and appear recently renovated.
We spent most of our time outside fishing off the dock, swimming (water was cold, but it's still May), or hanging out in the very large hot tub. Also we enjoyed watch all the differnt boats go by. The location in Brockville was very quiet.
One aspect that we all enjoyed was that the location makes everything you need walkable. There's a grocery store around the corner. Our favorites were Richard's coffee house, 1000 Islands Brewery, and the saturday market.
5/5 and gold stars. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Stunning Views from a Beautiful Home
The house was all we hoped for and more. It was such a lovely and comfortable home for our combined families to enjoy for a long weekend. So many rooms allowed us all to spread out, and the entertainment space in the lowest level, with huge TV, bar seating and pool table was great for us all to gather together. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the younger ones especially enjoyed the bunk bed room. Bathrooms were nicely updated and 11 of us managed just fine with 2.5 baths. Kitchen had all we needed and had the most stunning views. The whole back of the house offered the most gorgeous views and sunshine. Several access doors to the backyard, dock and river. We loved the large hot tub, morning coffee on the deck, and hunting for sea glass at the water’s edge. Also enjoyed the house’s proximity to walking trails, the grocery store and town shops and restaurants. It was perfect spot all around!
We also appreciated the personal communication from the owners and that they provided many things we needed (towels, tissues, toilet paper, hand soap, etc.).
