We really enjoyed our time at this house during our wine tasting weekend. The house is in a great location, close to the airport wineries, close to downtown, not too far from Milton Freewater. The house itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend. The host was very responsive.
Perfect for two couples or a small family. Large bedrooms, nice open floor plan on the main for socializing, shady outdoor space in back…updated throughout
Hello Angela,
Apologies that you found our guest favorite Mid-Century on Monroe "quirky". Please reach out to us if there is anything we could improve on, as our guest experience is our top priority. Cheers!
Everything you need, and didn’t know you need! Bedrooms are upstairs, 2 full bathrooms, one up and one down. Fully stocked kitchen and very organized. Fun outdoor shower was appreciated by one of our guests. Close to town and feels safe. I would book this again.
Met up in our hometown. House was very cozy and clean. Loved all of the amenities - soap, shampoo, paper towels, everything! Made it easy to enjoy! Very roomy and modern.
We traveled to Walla Walla for a few days of wine tasting and relaxation. This house was very comfortable for 2 couples. The living room was comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom situation (one ensuite upstairs and one on the main level) worked just fine for our group. While it was super hot outside, the A/C was very cool and comfortable. I would highly recommend this house for your visit to Walla Walla.
Lovely house in Walla Walla. Clean. Tastefully decorated with everything you need, but no clutter. Great to be able to bring the dog. Wish the yard was fully fenced. Walla Walla is a fun little town for a getaway.
Perfect, charming place for our weekend stay. Modern finishings gave the stay more luxury than expected! We loved the dog-friendly basement for crating our dogs, our old girl especially loved the grippy padded floors. Would recommend!
We enjoyed our stay. We walked Bennington Lake, toured and ate in downtown Walla Walla, and went to Tranche Winery for live music. The house was lovely and all was perfect. Thanks!
Awesome property in Walla Walla. Very convenient to everything and house is stocked with all you need for a relaxing weekend or a jam packed agenda in wine country!
What a beautiful property. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central, cool place to stay while in Walla Walla. We would come back here for sure in the future. Very cool spot!

Loved our stay here. One of the best rentals we’ve been to! It was very clean and well thought out. The master suite was awesome. It was fully stocked with everything and more. Would stay again and recommend to anyone staying in Walla Walla.
I was quite impressed with this property. It was spacious, comfortable, and in a quiet location, with a little tablet/spotify music player setup in the main area for some background tunes. The master suite was perfect with a desk, sofa, tv, and large bathroom. It's definitely one of the nicest rentals I've stayed in, and it's dog friendly!
Great amenities-from a bottle of wine to coffee! Nice touches! Very roomy! Nice outside area. Comfy beds. Clean house! 2 bedrooms upstairs and a master bath. Second bedroom would need to go downstairs for a bathroom.
Great little Mid-Century Retreat not far out of downtown
We were very pleased with the house. Something to note is that while there are 2 full bathrooms - only one is an ensuite and the other one is downstairs on the main level - a bit of a hike in the middle of night for a bathroom visit. In addition, I think it is important to know that he backyard/garden area is not fully enclosed. So, if your pet is a flight risk, this may not be the best set up for you.
The decor and style of the home was really cute and had all the little extras we were looking for - including a coffee grinder and pour over kettle and outdoor BBQ.
A few things that took away from our stay were the little furry caterpillar/worm things that kept showing up on the floor and counter. Also, the split systems didn't work. The house was uncomfortably warm at night even with the windows open. I was very happy with the immediate response to both issues, however the air conditioning and pest issues sadly couldn't be resolved during our stay. (I will note that it was offered to have the house sprayed for the pest issue but we had our puppy with us and did not want to take that risk)
Overall, this is a great little place to stay with friends or family. The neighborhood is cute and safe. And we were thrilled to have the private gated parking at the back of the house for added security.
If you are looking for a quiet place near downtown Walla Walla - this would be a great choice.

Thank you, Jeanette for your five star review of our popular Monroe House. We are glad you were please with the house! We were so sorry the furry caterpillars decided to show up during your stay. We have not had an issue with them inside the home and are keeping an eye out for them. We did not need to use pest control and will continue to monitor. The mini split units were working prior to your stay and suddenly two of them decided to act up and we wish our team could have remedied that during your visit. The split units have be serviced and the good news is they are up and running again, so all is well. We do mention in the listing the the yard is not fully fenced for those wanting to have their furry friends join. The fencing for the back yard is on our to do list and we look forward to updating the listing once that is finished. Thank you for being our guest!
Love the property. Had a really amazing stay. Our son lives in Walla Walla and he was only five minutes away. Also love the fact that this Home is pet friendly and our dog Garlic had a wonderful time. Love the property and backyard. The layout of the inside of the home is also fantastic. Kitchen had everything that we needed to cook several meals with our son. We had such a good time.
