We both grew up outside of Boston and moved to Vermont almost 25 years ago in pursuit of a better quality of life. We have always felt that Lake Champlain was Vermont's greatest asset and incredible source of beauty, fun, and relaxation. We're very excited to be able to share the "lake life" experience with others who seek to relax, unwind, and take in a great sunset.

Why they chose this property

This section of the lake, known as the inland sea, is incredibly gorgeous. If you're willing to take a long paddle in the kayak you will find all kinds of interesting things. We also find Swanton and St. Albans to be incredibly underrated with great restaurants, tons of farm stands, and nice people. There are some amazing places to visit that can be visited by car - Montreal (90 minutes), Burlington (35 minutes), Stowe (75 minutes), and the Lake Champlain Islands (30 minutes).

What makes this property unique

Our cottage stands out for its amazing sunsets, tasteful decor (at least we think so), and for it's layout that makes a small cottage feel big enough for a family to enjoy on a rainy day. Being right on the lake with west facing views means long sunny days on the water and pleasant evenings with unrivaled sunsets.
