Quiet Location, Easy Access to Surrounding Areas and Amenities

The property was very nice and clean. Looks like the listing pictures. We had a slight communication issue over check-in. The email sent at the time of booking provided instructions to pick keys up from a rental office, and I had missed a text that talked about the door code. We arrived after hours, at the rental office (about a 10 minute drive), expecting to find a key in the lock box. Fortunately it was easy to reach someone for help, and we were able to access the property. Not a big deal, but pointing it to help others avoid this. The location was great for us. We like the Sarasota area because it’s pretty central to other locations we like to take day trips to. This property is not on the actual Island of Siesta Key, so it cuts travel time to nearby shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and nearby cities down a lot. It was nice not dealing with the Island traffic when trying to get anywhere besides the beaches on Siesta. There’s a path to a local park that has a kayak launch, trails, and a playground right near the house. The park was super quick to walk to and the kids enjoyed it. There were plenty of beach items available which is always a bonus. Enough beach towels, beach cart, coolers, umbrella, Tommy Bahama chairs, boogie boards. I would rent again and recommend to anyone who’s looking for a nice, quiet rental.
