Painted Sky Homestead Apartment - A unique farm stay, near Moody and Valdosta!

The spacious upstairs apartment is within a very short distance to I-75, Moody Air Force Base, South Georgia Medical Center, & Valdosta State University.
The apartment is on a private, 10-acre Homestead Farm with a gated entry, on a quiet, "U"-shaped road with few neighbors and no thru-traffic.
It is well-equipped with above-and-beyond amenities that will make your stay relaxed and enjoyable.
Longer-stay discounts are available.

The space boasts over 1350 square feet with a full kitchen, a spacious living room with board games, playing cards, and books,
There is a cute balcony right off the living room looking out to the Guest Outdoor area and the beautiful cypress woods beyond! See if you can spot herons, cranes, deer, and rabbits!! (I promise there are no chupacabras!!)
The Guest Outdoor space is a beautiful area under a large oak tree with a spacious paver and gravel patio complete with a large charcoal grill and fire pit.
We do welcome your pet, and have a fenced 25x14 dog park right beside the guest outdoor space!
Pets that will be uncrated in the in the house MUST be potty trained and supervised at all times! When you are not at home, your pet MUST be crated.
please let me know if you need to borrow a crate, I do have a few extras on the farm, and I'm glad to help out.

This property was absolutely adorable! Very unique, well designed and decorated, and very clean! Plus the house is on a farm. They have sheep and goats. I would definitely stay here again. Oh… and the most pleasant surprise… the kitchen was actually stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, sweeteners, oil, salt, spices, etc. rare find these days.

Intentional luxury. Everything in this “apartment” (which is as big as a house) has been well thought out and intentionally placed to make your stay comfortable and convenient. From the labeling of light switches to the make up wash cloths. This has the feel of a luxury hotel but in the country. I won’t hesitate to use and recommend to anyone.

Stayed here for work it was a perfect accommodation and local to the jobsites.I will say the property is pretty cool. It would be an idea stay for a family. I had to send videos everyday to my daughters of the baby sheep as well as the minature horse and goat.

Abigail is a great host, along with the sheep, goats, steer and other assorted farm animals. It’s a quiet apartment, spacious & clean. Hahira & Valdosta are close by for great restaurants & shopping. Our dog enjoyed the early morning walks along the country roads. Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful family trip over the 4th of July week!The little house above the garage was cozy, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. The interior was exactly as described clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed.While the exterior showed some signs of recovery from recent storms, it didn’t take away from the experience. The missing big oak and the slightly weathered fireplace area were understandable given the circumstances.The farm setting added a special charm. The animals were a fun touch and the kids enjoyed. Overall, a great stay and a memorable getaway we’d happily return!

We were in the area visiting our son at Moody Air Force Base and wanted a place that was clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. We stumbled upon The Painted Sky Homestead and couldn't be more impressed. Not only was the apartment cozy and clean, but it had everything you could want and need for a family stay. Check in was easy and straightforward. The property was welcoming and so were the sheep and goats. The kitchen was stocked with whatever you needed to make meals, the bathroom was roomy, and the bedrooms right down to the beds were very comfortable. Our host Abigail, was friendly and communicative, always right there if needed. Moody AFB was a quick ride for our son to stay with us, and it was so close to Walmart and places to eat. We hope to be back when we visit our son again! This was a very lucky find for us, and you will find that too!
