Resort was perfect location and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The shuttle to Vail village (and driver Joe) was awesome. The bellman Carlos was super fun and gave us a warm welcome. The warm cookies and coffee were a nice touch. The unit was well decorated.

Perfect Location

This was our first time staying at Lion Square Lodge. As planned, it was the perfect location to just walk out the door and be in the heart of Lionshead Village and a pleasant walk, along the river to Vail Village. This unit is very nice and updated. The very small toilet/shower room however was a little unexpected. The a/c wasn't working nor is there a ceiling fan so the room was somewhat warm and stale. The front desk was very friendly and helpful!

Our stay was fantastic. However, the air conditioning was not working and after we reported it, it was not fixed. Our room temperature was not horrible, but warm. Warm temp and no moving air at night was uncomfortable. Other than that we were very pleased with the property. Thank you.

Nice but very small for the price

The unit is nice and is in a nice facility with included parking, which is very helpful in Vail. But this unit has no temperature control and the bathroom is so small, you have to walk around the toilet to close the door. We froze until we called the front desk and they told us about the heater in the closet. Some units in the facility don't have heat, which seems strange for a ski lodge.

Compared to other rooms at Lion Square Lodge South that our friends stayed in, we found this room to be the smallest, darkest, and awkward to get ready in. No full length mirror, tiny bathroom, window facing a wall, broken tv, stains on the bed. Compared to other rooms on the property, it was notably worse, and we would not book this room again.
