About this property

We've furnished each bedroom to optimize guest comfort

If a country setting is on check list, you'll be surrounded by nature, deer in the yard, ducks and blue heron in the pond and wapiti (elk) in the fields of the neighbourhood ... all this and still only a 6 minute drive to town and amenities.

What's unique about our 3 BDR Wapiti Suite (pronounced wuh•pee•tee) is we've designed each bedroom to optimize guest comfort, by furnishing each of them with a new split King bed, making this space ideal for a group traveling as couples, as singles or a mix of anything in-between.

Amazing!
Property was clean and welcoming. Beautifully maintained. It felt like home. 3 bedrooms, extra blankets, smart tv with DVD player. Fully appointed kitchen made cooking a breeze.

Host profile image
I am a first generation Canadian, born and raised on a farm in Southern Ontario. We are a Dutch Christian family and were raised to be disciplined, hard-working and honest.
My superpowers are my organizational skills, my attention to detail and my problem solving abilities. I value loyalty, commitment, and perseverance.
I treasure my family, friends, laughing, surprises, personal challenges and the little things. I look to the future while I strive to live in today and take time to reflect on the past.
A decade or so ago, my partner & I owned/operated a B&B out of our home, here in the Cowichan Valley before life took us to a new adventure in the East Coast of Canada. With another decade behind us and after a 4-year hunt, we've moved back home to the Cowichan Valley and are thrilled to be close to our family & friends again.
Hosting the Bed & Breakfast was such a rewarding experience that I was thrilled at having found another home that could once again accommodate guests. I truly look forward to welcoming you and your people and hosting you, even if it may only be virtually (as many things are in today’s world).
