Imagine waking up in the morning stepping out onto your deck to watch the sunrise over the bay and gaze at the crystal clear water right below your feet, hearing the sounds of nature, and smelling the lush green forest. You can’t get anymore waterfront than here at Paddler on the Bay. Walk 10 steps to the dock to launch the supplied kayaks or a paddle board, or cast a line to watch in anticipation for that bobber to go down. Or watch the fire in the sky in the hot tub as the sun sets over the bay. If water isn’t your jam, play a game of bags in the backyard, enjoy a campfire at the fire pit, or ride your bikes (e-bikes also available for additional fee) less than a mile to explore the town or take a 5 minute car ride into Sister Bay to be in the middle of the action. Endless opportunities await you here at one of the most ideal locations in Door County. Memories WILL be made here.

Spring Break at the lake!

Perfect in every way for family. Twin 18 year old boys each had their own room and had plenty of room to spread out in the common areas, so no sibling bickering! We had an excellent stay in this beautiful, impeccably CLEAN, lakefront home. Well stocked kitchen and with a grocery store 6 minutes away, many meals were prepared and we had everything we needed. Coffee bar was a nice touch! Home is updated, tastefully decorated with a lake house nautical theme, and beds are super comfy. Our stay was during the off season so we weren’t able to take advantage of the outdoor amenities because of cooler temperatures but there was a wonderful fire pit area as well as kayaks to use. We didn’t miss these activities though, as the hot tub on the deck right outside the door was the main attraction. Another nice touch.. when getting out of the hot tub, there are heated mats on the deck to keep your feet from freezing during the winter and cooler months. This was one of our best rentals through VRBO, and we will be back! Hosts very responsive too!

Perfect Fall Weekend Getaway

Paddler on the Bay is in a perfect location for a relaxing getaway in the woods and on the lake. The house was beautifully appointed and decorated, extremely clean. Had everything we needed and is close to hiking and nice restaurants and other things to do! We enjoyed the fire pit on a cool fall evening. We would love to come back.
