About the host

I bought this house in June 2023. It has been my dream to own a home next to the beach. I found the perfect beach. Crescent Beach, is a very family oriented beach. The home is beautifully decorated and I’ve taken a lot of pride and joy and personalizing the home. I’m a retired felony probation officer and I have one more son in high school who is a sophomore and will be moving down there in the near future. There is no place I would rather be then to sit on the beach and listen to the waves and read a book.
Why they chose this property
I love this neighborhood. I am the very first house so you can see feel the beach air on your face. It has several palm trees. It is a very friendly family oriented neighborhood. Neighbors walking dogs. The beach is very family oriented. It is quiet and peaceful and very tranquil. I fell in love with this house the day it came on the market.
There are quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM each night. The beach which is across the street to the left, is very family oriented. You can drive on the beach. But it has families and it is not crowded. Very friendly people also. Surfing people too.
This neighborhood is a mile down from the pier. Outside of the Saint Augustine Beach city limits. It is non-commercial, which I love. There is a Dollar General to the right which you can get anything you need. A great restaurant to the left called Mc toads that has bingo Every Thursday night in trivia every Tuesday night. Very family friendly. This area is quiet and a great place to hang out and relax and be taken away from the world. I love to listen to the rain on the tin roof and the lanai. It is so peaceful. The neighbors are very friendly. It is a quick access to get to the mainland and downtown to see the sites. Or go up to the pier which is about a mile in the grocery store the traffic is not crowded at all. Great stores on the mainland, my favorite is the thrift stores.

What makes this property unique
The house has been decorated and personalized and is so comfortable and peaceful. It is a spacious layout of three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. One story so no stair climbing. A great lanai and tin roof to hear the rain fall. It is a short walk to the beach. Take a right out of the neighborhood and an immediate left on Mary Street. You can always drive on the beach if you have a four-wheel-drive. The breeze of the ocean is relaxing in the sunsets are beautiful over the inlet. Enjoy Anastasia Island the oldest city in the US and all of the ancient downtown area. Great restaurants also on the island. Very family oriented.
