Welcome to Longbranch Lodge! We are delighted to have you as our guest. Our property offers a serene and private retreat, with a privacy fence in the front yard ensuring tranquility. You can enjoy the peaceful ambiance from our cozy back porch, which provides stunning views of our slough off the main channel.

For your comfort, the bedrooms are equipped with blackout curtains, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating night's sleep. Our fully functional and spacious kitchen is at your disposal, allowing you to prepare meals and snacks with ease.

If you're in the mood for outdoor cooking, we provide an outdoor grill, specifically a Green Egg, along with a grilling station. You can savor delicious grilled meals while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Please note that access to our double-decker dock requires descending three flights of stairs, totaling approximately 60 steps. This provides access to the water and an enjoyable waterfront experience.

Great getaway with girlfriends

We had a wonderful time! The pictures and descriptions are spot on. The check-in and out process is easy and efficient. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen and living room are very spacious. The kitchen has everything you need so don't bring anything but your food! There are so many comfortable outdoor seating options in the back, to really enjoy nature, with a view to the water. The dock is very clean with no rot, very stable with two ladders into the water. We also loved the upper deck! There are a few chairs available, but if you want to lay back on a sunning chair you need to bring one. There is a ton of space on the upper deck to layout or just sit on the wrap around bench and enjoy the scenery. The beds were comfortable. They also have two cots and a single layer queen size blowup mattress. Plenty of bedding and towels available. Only suggestion is, the cots are fine for kids, but an older person may not find them comfortable. So if you have more than 6 adults, bring an extra air mattress. WE LOVED OUR EXPERIENCE AND WILL BE STAYING AGAIN! THANK YOU

Great property and location

We had a great weekend on the lake. This house has plenty of room, a great kitchen, a Green Egg, and tons of porch space and outdoor seating. Everything was very clean, and it was a very secluded property for being in a neighborhood. Mitchell was always quick to respond to any questions, and the boat rental experience was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Smith Lake Stay!

The Good: * The pictures and property description on VRBO are entirely accurate. Clean Property. * Just 15 min drive to I-65. * Great dock with swim platform on bottom and large double deck platform on top with fun 8-10 ft jump to the 60ft deep clear water. * Available boat was great. * Perfect for pets with fully enclosed front yard with seats & night lights, as well as back deck to dry out. Dock ladder in water perfect for dogs to climb out of lake by themselves. * Several seating areas and firepit in back (bring insect repellant as per everywhere in AL.) * Owners very clear in communication, responsive, but not hovering. The Bad: nothing on our trip!
