About the host
Hosted by Katey Collins
Hello,
We want to share our Northwoods home with you. I grew up close by and love all the beauty of the lakes, woods, and trails. It has been my goal for over 40 years to own waterfront property and we finally do! It is important that we share it with other families so they can have magical experiences in the Northwoods like we have had. When our kids were younger we loved renting vacation properties and will forever cherish those memories. We want you to enjoy this waterfront home and make your own lifelong memories!

Why they chose this property
Enjoy your own Northwoods, on the lake experience! Be sure to plan enough time because it goes fast when there is so much to do. Water lovers will enjoy swimming, sand bars, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding and sunbathing on the pier or water mat. Bring your own boat or rent one, guests have pier access. If you don't feel like cooking one night check out one of the restaurants on the water, or in town. Feel free to bring smores to cook over the fire pit. Charcoal grill and Blackstone griddle available for your use. Take in the lake views on the picnic table or large porch. For silent sport lovers, endless trails are nearby in the national forests waiting for hikers, bikers, runners and cross country skiers. Many local roads are open to UTV's and their are snowmobile trails right from the house.
What makes this property unique
This home is on the largest inland chain of lakes in the world. Nothing beats exploring all these lakes that are surrounded by beautiful trees and the scent of pine! Nature lovers will appreciate the abundant wildlife, such as bald eagles, deer, ducks, cranes, herons, birds and otters. You may even wake up to the sound of a loon.
