About this property
Deer Haven - A charming 3-bedroom house on the chain in Beautiful 3-Lakes
Discover this wonderful 3-bedroom gem - nestled amidst 2-acres of woods - between Deer and Crystal Lakes - on the sought after chain in Three Lakes. This quaint home features 2 queen beds and 2 full beds, a full eat-in kitchen, coffee bar, comfortable living room and wall to wall high speed Internet - Perfect for your next relaxing getaway!
In contrast to many of the available rentals in the area - Deer Haven is our home away from home too. When the place is open - i.e. not under contract to another vacationer like you - chances are real good that we'll be enjoying (or making improvements to) Deer Haven also!
There's nothing like the serenity of the woods combined with the peaceful tranquility of water to separate us from life as we know it.
Complete with amenities like heat/air, comfortable mattresses, soft linens and posh comforters and the basic essentials (towels, soap, hair dryers and free in-house laundry), after but a day at Deer Haven guests won't feel like this is home - they just wish it were!
A Personal Story
During our very first visit to the home, as we wound our way down the drive, we spotted a
large fidgety doe - seemingly committed to making sure we left. As we turned our attention in
the direction of the large deer's focus, we witnessed her newborn, still wet fawn, taking
its very first wobbly steps. Needless to say, we were smitten.
If you enjoy recreational boating, water-skiing, wake boarding or you simply prefer the quiet solitude of casting for bass, jigging for walleye or drifting for pan fish any of the 28 lakes that make up the worlds larges chain of lakes are at your beck and call. The closest lake access is less than a mile from Deer Haven and our pier is but a 5-minute boat ride from the landing.
If you prefer the world of ATV/UTV riding or the adrenaline rush of trail riding on your sled during the winter, the trail is only a couple of blocks from the end of the Deer Haven driveway.
If hiking or biking is your preferred means of enjoying the out of doors, the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest is just a few miles south on Hwy 32. And if you’d like to enjoy playing golf, Big Stone, a 9-hole course abuts Big Stone Lake (about a mile from Deer Haven) and Lake Forest Golf Club, another 9-hole club, is 12-miles down the road in Eagle River.
Finally, if none of the above fits your fancy and you'd prefer to stroll in/out of a variety of quaint boutiques, sit down to your favorite coffee or late' or visit a local winery all that and more is available just 2-1/2 miles down the road in Three Lakes. And if a vibrant night life is more your forte, Eagle River is just 10 miles up Hwy 45 from the center of Three Lakes.
As the new owners of Deer Haven, we invite you to come and experience our little corner of heaven! There's truly something everyone in the family will enjoy. When you do, like us, we're certain you'll fall in love with Three Lakes and enjoy the magic it has to offer.
