Casa Cielito (Little Sweetheart) is a gorgeous, private house in the tranquil NE corner of the historic center of Antigua. Casa Cielito offers the rare combination of volcano views, luxurious furnishings, modern amenities, and Guatemalan craftsmanship all in 15 minutes walking distance from the Central Plaza. Enjoy a luxurious, elegant stay while living like a local in a safe, friendly, authentic neighborhood. Casa Cielito is a HOME, not a minimally furnished rental. We have taken great care with fine details.The stunning 2BR, 1 bath, 2-story house was recently renovated top to bottom to tastefully blend high-quality, luxurious updates with Guatemalan textiles, art, and handicrafts. The home’s key feature is the 2nd floor balcony with an unobstructed view of Agua Volcano.
We have taken great care to outfit our home with fine details: filtered water in the kitchen faucet; hot water in all faucets as well as the shower (unlike most local rentals in town); good wifi; high quality mattresses; 100% cotton sheets and towels; down duvets; smart TV; well-appointed kitchen; and comfortable furniture (no hard wood chairs without cushions here, like you find in most places).
Casa Cielito is perfectly equipped for a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Super cute and clean unit. Our host and property manager were great. The neighborhood was very friendly and secure. Nice hot shower with very good water pressure. The kitchen was complete and easy to use. That said there were two drawbacks. The first was the map supplied by VRBO that said we were one minute walk from the Central Park the reality was 15 minutes. The map was wrong and should be replaced. We did notify the owner and manager. The other problem was the constant noise of building and repair in front of the house and directly behind. Sleeping in was not an option nor was a nap! This is not the fault of the owner and hopefully will be resolved soon. We stayed 16 days and were saddened to leave but hope to return again.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Cielito. This is our first experience using VRBO and we have found it extremely hard for them to get our location right. We do say in the description that we are a 15 minute walk from the center of town. We are sorry about neighbors doing some construction, but we have no control over that. Their project is finished now and our latest guests mentioned nothing about noise. Come back and visit sometime in the future. Best -Cat

Casa Cielito is located in historic, central Antigua, Guatemala in the North-East corner called "Candelaria," near the charming barrio of El Naranjo. This is not a "touristy" part of town. The area is populated by local families who have lived here for generations. It is a friendly, close-knit community where people know each other by name and look out for one another. You will enjoy experiencing a local barrio while living in modern luxury.
