Perfect Getaway

We had a fantastic time staying at Nature’s Nest. Karen had face masks and a Happy Birthday sign for our celebration. The little details were just icing on how good this property is. We loved the decor and the comfy couch. The hot tub was just perfect. I hope we get to stay again. Can’t recommend enough!

Peaceful and quiet

Beautiful home with different level decking, relaxing hot tub, plenty of rainy day activities(games, movies collection, toys, binoculars for birdwatching, books). The home is located in a very quiet small neighborhood with privacy and gorgeous woodland views.

Absolutely PERFECT

My husband I and I stayed here as a long weekend getaway and did some walleye fishing and golfing. The hottub was so needed. From before we arrived to after we departed, Karen was excellent about communication. Check in was super easy. When we arrived, it was exactly as described if not better. Down to the last detail, it was absolutely perfect! From check in, to cleanliness, to comfort. I would highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to get away and relax. Karen is an excellent host and very accomodating. She literally thought of EVERYTHING! You must get a pizza from Gangbusters (literally 3 minutes from the house).

Beautiful Treehouse

We were so blown away by the peaceful ambiance and warmth of this beautiful home. The host has thoughtfully considered the guest's every need. You'll love the beautiful deck(s) (with TREES coming right up the center), the sounds of nature (we heard owls and saw hundreds of beautiful birds, baby rabbits, deer and a mother goose with her gosslings). We love to cook for our friends and not only is the kitchen beautiul, it contained everything we could have needed!! It is clean, quite and very comfortable. We enjoyed nights in the hot tub under the stars listening to owls!! We toured the local area and found some great, unique finds at local shops. Thank you for sharing your home and community with us!!! P.S..we never needed the host butvwe knew she was onlyva call away. We are definitely coming back!! ♡

Birthday Getaway

I decided this year to treat myself and a couple friends to a little weekend trip to celebrate my 40th birthday. And after staying at Nature's Nest, there's no doubt in my mind that I picked the perfect place to have it! It had everything we needed for 5 adults to be very comfortable. The bedrooms and living areas were top notch. The 8 person Hot Tub was even better, and definitely bigger, than expected. The kitchen had everything you could need and was well organized & labeled. And the yard and decks give great, private outdoor spaces with an abudnace of red squirrels and chipmunks to entertain you, as well as birds of many varieties. Check in was a breeze, with great communication by the host. Although we didnt need it, the host offered us early check in and check out and seemed VERY accommodating and helpful from the day I requested to book Nature's Nest. She even hung a "Happy Birthday" banner up before we arrived and left a personal note wishing me a happy birthday, which was a nice touch!! We are already considering coming back in the Spring for the Mrs' birthday. We couldnt recommend it more.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is amazing! It makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere even though you are only 15 minutes from downtown Ashtabula.

What makes this property unique

Our stand-out feature is definitely our two-tier deck, especially considering the forest view!
