You can check out Lake Jocasse for its amazing cliffs and waterfall or Lake Keowee which is a favorite around here in the summer.

We had a great time! The cabin was clean, and updated we really enjoyed our stay! Only thing I’d add is that the driveway is super steep, just a heads up for winter visitors:-)

Cozy house

The house was very clean and was everything that was said online. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was nicely stocked with the basics that you need. The only issue we had and it was not the owners fault was we took our boat and it was very difficult to park. Also there was road construction going on about a mile from the house due to the storm and this was also difficult with our boat. Again not the owners fault but something to think about if you are planning on taking a boat to head to the lakes.

Unsatisfied with Condition

A/C was not operational, there were NO washcloths (had to bathe with kitchen towel), rat droppings were on floor and counters, a tree was down across back porch, no dishwasher pods to wash dishes, and had to remove tree limbs from driveway to reach the residence. My wife and I along with our 5 children have stayed at numerous rentals throughout the years and I will say we have always been positive in the reviews until now. The owner was responsive to my messages but still had to stay within the above mentioned issues our entire 3 night stay. I loved the location and view but this is NOT a rental property that we will return to.
