The apartment has one large bedroom, with a high quality queen sized mattress, one bathroom, and a dining/living area/kitchenette. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 2 people. The home is conveniently located just off of Palani Road and it is only a 13 minute drive from the Kona Airport (KOA), a 7 minute drive to the Kailua-Kona pier and the Ali’i Drive “old-town” tourist and restaurant district, a 5 minute drive to Walmart, and a 10 minute drive to Costco. Additional attractions include multiple nearby world-class snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and turtle/whale watching beaches, multiple golf courses, and numerous coffee plantations, farmers markets, restaurants, historic sites and other tourist attractions. As an added bonus, the property is a great spot for bird watching, including wild parrots, kalij pheasants, francolins, wild turkeys, cardinals, saffron finches, various song-birds, pueo (Hawaiian owl), and 'io (Hawaiian hawk). Out of respect for the health of owners and other guests, smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property (prohibited areas include all indoor and outdoor areas) - closest area where smoking is not prohibited is the street adjacent to the property.
This property has outdoor, street facing and property perimeter security cameras. All cameras point outwards from the perimeter of the building structure. There are no hidden cameras or indoor cameras anywhere on the property, and there are no outdoor cameras that show any indoor areas or any guest lanai/outdoor dining areas.
