This was a surprisingly nice property and experience. The cottage was recently updated and in excellent condition. The setting is amazing with easy access to P-Town. The beautiful sunsets were an unexpected plus. Definitely a 10 rating.
Great cottage on the beach! The view is unmatched, the ocean visible through almost every window. Great clean space for two people. Todd the property manager was great & the location is close to Provincetown & many other Cape Cod sites. Will definitely stay again.
My wife and I stayed at this cabin for our 1 year anniversary. We couldn’t have chosen a nicer place to spend it! It was our first time at the Cape and from the beginning process to the end everything went smoothly. We’re hoping to return next year to stay again.
A perfect quick getaway. We were charmed from the moment we arrived. The manager’s welcoming smile, the cutest, comfy little cottage, the bedroom window looking out to the sea, the ocean view and outdoor area…everything was just right. Todd, the manager, and Liz, the owner, are warm, wonderful hosts and very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for more.
My sister and I had a lovely stay at this cute cottage right on the beach. It had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the open window sea breezes and sounds of the waves. You are literally feet from the surf to swim or just sit on the deck and gaze out. Salty Market is a great place for breakfast and to buy provisions. Liz was a very responsive and accommodating host. We will definitely return!
We stayed for the weekend, off season and it was so peaceful and relaxing! Sitting outside with the water right in front of you watching the sunset was the best! There is a nice, long quiet beach for walks. You are also a very short drive to restaurants and shops.
Loved staying at this comfortable, homey, clean, adorable cottage. It was just what I was looking for. Great windows to look at the ocean when the weather was iffy. Plus beautiful area to seat and relax outside when the weather was great. Long Beach to walk along, too! Minutes from the ocean side beaches for a change of pace. Many restaurants available for those who choose not to cook.
I absolutely loved staying at Pilgrim Beach Cottages.
Genuinely enjoyed every minute of our (short) stay in Truro. Ocean was less than 20 yards away from the living room that looks over Cape Cod Bay. Outdoor seating is wonderful, and this unit has a private outdoor area that was great for stargazing and sheltered us from outdoor lights. The place is on the smaller side but perfect for a couple/two people (one could sleep on the couch). Price felt perfect! Great experience communicating with owners and receiving keys thru the mail- prepaid return envelope was included as well. Bedding, towels, and some cleaning/bathroom supplies were provided in a laundry bin. Only thing that could have been improved was some of the tidiness from the housemaids and/or on-site manager: there were some items left from previous guests, including a razor on the bathroom sink, plastic water bottles, 2 full trash cans, and the house key left on the living room table per owner’s instructions (if not obtained via mail). Make no mistake, however: I am nitpicking and am still happy to give 5 stars for our experience. We will certainly be back and are looking forward to it already!

Garrett, thank you for your lovely review. We have spoken with our cleaners who, apparently missed fully cleaning the cottage before your arrival, which has never happened before but is still totally unacceptable. We will provide you with a partial refund for your inconvenience and hope that you will accept our apologies for this major oversight.

Great stay despite the poor weather!
The cottage is completely adorable with an updated interior and perfect for a couple. The view of the bay is outstanding and since the cottage is at the end you also have a view of the beach and water from the bedroom. This unit is definitely in the best location at Pilgrim Beach Village. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. Since we couldn't enjoy sitting on the beach because of the rain, we spent several hours shopping in Ptown, did a wine tasting at Truro Winery, visited Atlantic Spice Company and had two amazing meals at Blackfish and Terra Luna. The owner Liz was a delight to work with and was always quick to respond to our requests. She even went out of her way to arrange an early check in for us. Management was also great as we managed to lock ourselves out of the cottage going to dinner and they had a key ready for us upon our return.
The only cons for us (and it's purely on personal preference) was the mattress was too soft for our comfort. The futon in the living room also wasn't very comfortable, but neither of these discomforts would keep us from renting the cottage again. We will definitely be back in the future for another stay with hopefully better weather! Thank you Liz!!!

We agree with you on the "too soft" bedroom mattress and it has been replaced with a new firmer one for the spring of 2017. Futons are never the most comfortable for sitting but given the space limitations of the cottage, it is the only type of couch that fits in that space.

Location! Location! Location!
Being from Minnesota, we wanted a place close to the water to watch an authentic Nor'Easter coming in. Bingo! Any closer and we would have been soaked the entire time. Yet, our cottage was so well constructed that, unless you looked out the window, you'd hardly know a storm was outside. The storm was exciting and the aftermath was thrilling. Literally hundreds, perhaps thousands, of northern gannets, shearwaters, eiders, and other marine birds flocking past our window during the day and the lovely lights of Provincetown and the cape lighthouses at night. Although most of the area is developed, the cottage is situated near a huge, high dune running away to the south so you really have a sense of privacy and natural environment. We found the cabin itself to be perfect and perfectly outfitted with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Small yes, but cozy and a real feeling of being outside while in. The windows facing west and south were endlessly entertaining.
The location was not only perfect for watching birds and harbor seals, but we really enjoyed the proximity to Provincetown more than expected. What a fun place to visit, even in the off-season. And of course the few minutes drive up to Race Point to watch the waves after the storm will always be a highlight of our trip. All in all, a great stay. If you can do better for the price, you are doing really, really well.
One last note. We came to Cape Cod without having set up anything in advance. We are grateful that the owners were so quick and diligent in answering our requests and getting things set up. The people you work often make or break your vacation. Thanks, Liz, for everything.
This place is perfect for a peaceful relaxing getaway. Fully stocked, clean, and quaint. Views are breathtaking. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the outdoor lounge chairs and walking on the beach. Salty Market was great for sandwiches to go. Excellent communication with owner. We would come back again in a heartbeat.
We had a fantastic few days at this tiny cottage! It has beautiful views alway but especially at sunset. The house is small but efficient and equipped with all the essentials. Most importantly it has large windows that allow you to see the ocean all the time.
The bed was wonderfully comfortable as well!
We were there before school got out so it was very quiet, which we were grateful for!
Wonderful and relaxing stay!
Thid being the end unit you have more privacy. We were there in May pre-season with no other people there. It is probably not so quiet in mid-summer, but this would be the best cottage to stay in I would say. Bring groceries because everything you need to cook meals is there! And enjoy that view when you make coffee. It's exactly like the pictures.
I have been staying in the Provincetown area yearly since I was a teenager and this was one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at. The views of the ocean along with the views of PTown (especially all lit up at night) were breathtaking! We enjoyed sitting on the beach right outside our door and listening to the waves break. The cottage was clean, modern and the furniture was comfortable. It is only a few minutes by car to get to Commercial St but far enough away if you are looking for a quieter atmosphere. The communication with Liz (the owner) was wonderful and she was very attentive. I definitely will be returning to this rental in the future.
Loved the close proximity to the bay! Had the opportunity to watch seals right from the window!
Liz is a wonderful host, very attentive quick to reply to questions!
Would definitely return!
The property was gorgeous, sparkling clean, the owners were lovely and communicative, the views were breathtaking. And it rained the whole time we were there! Hope to be back in the near future! Thank you so much Liz for a relaxing weekend.
I love everything about this place. The owner is great and the people on site are helplful. I love it here. I wish I could live here!!

Why they chose this property
We purchased this cottage in 1996 after renting various units at Pilgrim Beach Village since the late 1980's. Most owners here have been coming since the 1970's, as there are few places in Beachpoint with such convenient access to the water, and which are not located directly on Route 6a.
