Private 2 bedroom Villa, central Seminyak with huge L-shaped private pool

Hi Bernard I'd like to start by apologising for your less then ideal experience. Having met with you a few times my self, I am surprised these points were not raised with me personally. The only defence I have for the majority of your comments is that your stay was during the worst part of what was already a particularly bad wet season. We had some of the heaviest downpours during your stay that I have seen in my time in Bali and unfortunately this does affect the villa. Now that wet season has come to an end, we will do the same as what we do every year and replace the upholstery on all our outdoor cushions. You did mention to us that you had thought there was a leak in the dressing room, we did inspect however, and found no leaks. We determined the cause of the small amount of water you saw on the floor, was due to rain making its way through one of the windows on one of the particularly bad rainy days as it also was reported to me that this did not occur again. Unfortunately, with rain everyday, the pool water can be affected. We do our best in these conditions but also feel it is unreasonable to chlorinate the pool each day as it would then in turn be un-swimmable for our guests. The compromise unfortunately is that, during periods of heavy rain, the pool will not always be crystal clear. I am not sure what you mean about the dirty toilets as they are cleaned daily. I really wish you had raised those points with me directly during your stay. I also suggest next time you travel to Bali, you be weary of when the wettest time to come is as, this can affect anybody's stay when the rain is as bad as it was during your stay Thank you for your 3 week stay with us. Having stayed as long as you did, I assume it wasn't all as unbearable as your review makes out. That being said, I promise to look at your comments and make adjustments where necessary and really do appreciate the feedback. We are glad to see the end of what was a particularly bad wet season and will be beginning our standard after wet season maintenance now that we get the chance. Kind regards Asher
