'The B's Hive' - A Beautiful, North Carolina Log Home just outside of Wilkesboro with views of Kerr Scott Lake. Wilkesboro NC is the home of “Merlefest” at Wilkes Community College.

3 Bedrooms (2 King Suites, 1 Queen Bedroom), 2 Twin Beds in Loft, 3 ½ baths, Pool Table, Wifi, Cable, Gas log fireplace, Huge Deck, Rockers For Relaxing, Washer Dryer, 3 TVs, Large Dining Area-Seats 8 Plus 2 Barstools, Sleeps 8

This new, log home is in a private, gated, community with gorgeous views of the NC mountains, Wilkesboro and Kerr Scott Lake. You will find top quality bedding in the 3 bedrooms.

Natural beauty, peace and quiet abounds at The B’s Hive. You will love the open living room, dining room and full kitchen on the main level with a wall of windows for the spectacular views.. One king bedroom with adjoining bath and a half bath is on the main level also.

The downstairs level has a mini-kitchen/bar area, pool table, TV, King Bedroom, Queen Bedroom and 2 baths.

This cabin is beautiful and roomy. Pool table in the basement was fun to have. So clean, not even a cobweb in the rafters. It was a bit rainy during our stay but cleared up the last day so we got a peak at the Mountain View. So peaceful and quiet out there. Loved it!

We had a phenomenal stay here! Ben was an excellent host and had the place decorated for Christmas when we arrived. Needless to say, my toddler was over the moon! The place was clean, well stocked with cookware, and had amazing views on the back porch. We even got to see a family of deer run by one morning. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice quiet getaway.

This is an amazing place full of sports memorabilia that made it feel extra special and personal. My favorite thing in the sports den was the framed report about Michigan getting beat. But I digress... everything was perfect, and as represented. We thought most aspects of the home were better than the pics had led us to expect. The house even smelled really good. The view is really so much better than expected! Nothing was missing from the cooking we did in the kitchen, beds were comfortable, ample almost-flat parking, we heard lots of birds, before we arrived, the host called to see if we needed any help getting to the house, he's so sweet! This was a good base for a carriage ride in Blowing Rock, a day of "mining" in Hiddenite, and for just spending many hours staring at the view in the daytime, and the stars and fireflies at night. We never even turned on a TV except 1 person looking for a sporting event one evening. The checkout process was reasonable and easy. One minor thing, the pics showed some padded outdoor furniture, but although there was some, it was jumbled and off to the side, looking too dirty to use, but overall, a masterpiece of a house & a view!

Secluded Getaway

Great place for a getaway

This is a gorgeous cabin with a fantastic view. Ben was great to work with and the communication was excellent. It was just my wife and I but this would also be great for a family get together.

Country cabin

The cabin was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We loved playing pool at night and corn hole. The views from the porch are fabulous!

Why they chose this property

This property has magnificent views of the Allegheny Mountains and the Kerr Scott Lake. Also we have an abundance of wildlife here. We knew when we first observed this lot that this was the place we wanted to build our cabin.

What makes this property unique

Seeing the wildlife and enjoying the peace and quiet.. We can even see boats in the distance on the Kerr Scott Lake..
