Great location and a great stay! The host provided a folder with extensive information of things to do for all ages in the area. We had no clue there was so much to do around the area, but grateful for the information. Check in and check out was very easy, and overall a great stay.

It is an older home so the floors squeak, which is expected. No place to hang clothes in one bedroom. The stay was ok. The entry outside was not very clean, cob webs and inside also Other than that, our stay was ok

Lois, I apologize about the cobwebs being on the outside of the house. Spiders seem to come during this month at any given time. I have no control what insects do. Housekeeping does clean what the see, but there are no guarantees about them making more cobwebs. I do have the house sprayed for insects, but again, spiders make webs. When you booked the home, the write-up said it was a nearly 100 year old home and the floors creak. You asked questions about the home and I promptly answered regarding the home, and again stated the home was nearly 100 years old so it doesn't have the same layout as a modern day home. While I appreciate your stay, Wooster has many different places that would probably suit you and your family's needs.

Great, easy communication with host, easy check-in process, description matched home! Very convenient location for us, close to downtown Wooster. Charming, comfortable, and friendly in a “Grandma’s house” way! Would need to watch toddlers around the 2 staircases but otherwise a good house for a family stay.

This home is so charming and inviting. We instantly felt comfortable (so did our dogs) because of the warmth and all the thoughtful touches. It has everything you need from the well appointed kitchen, the super comfortable beds, and cozy blankets on the beds, couch, and chairs. The a/c was nice and cold and every surface was spotless. Marlene was very communicative and check in/out was seamless.

The house was ready as promised and the communication was prompt and clear. Very easy to find, had off street parking and easy to enter and exit. Plenty of room for 3 people and the air conditioning was fine. It is an old house with creaky floors and steps and we were fore warned. Good location and we walked to the downtown area every morning. Thanks for the stay!

Our experience was awesome! The home was very welcoming and comfortable. Our favorite spot in the house was the “sunroom” where we relaxed and settled from busy days and enjoyed a peaceful decompressing. If being drawn to a home that meets and exceeds your expectations for a lovely stay this is the spot. I only wish we had stayed long enough to see the peonies bloom. They were favorites of my Mom’s which was an added blessing!

Wedding weekend stay

We traveled to Wooster for our nephew’s wedding. This house has so much charm & was perfect for our group. We had plenty of space, but were able to spend time together comfortably. We had plenty of everything we needed!

Family Wedding

Got to enjoy the lovely town of Wooster for a family wedding. Very nice to have the whole family together. Happy to have a working kitchen as my oven at home was broken and I volunteered to make cookies for the wedding! Would stay there again.

Our family was in the Wooster area for a wedding, and having a space to ourselves for about the same amount of money versus dealing with less than desirable hotels was a benefit. Love the coffee/tea bar concept, cozy chairs & couch, owner was very responsive.

Storybook home in home town USA

Millie’s Place is such a sweet old home with charm and personality. All necessary utilities. Well-stocked coffee bar. Comfy rooms and heated bathroom floor! Absolutely fantastic - my number one destination whenever I return to Wooster!

Convenient and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. The house is indeed old and was creakier than expected. The bathrooms are fully renovated, but the position of the shower head is tricky for tall people! We would recommend to other alumni returning to campus.

Wonderful home!

My daughter, my son-in-law, my grandson, my son, my husband and I stayed at this listing for a trip to see my other daughter. It was a beautiful home. The property manager was amazing and very easy to communicate with. It was very clean and in a lovely area, there was lots to do around where we didn’t even have to drive to! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in Wooster. The house was clean, communication from the host was timely, and the door code worked flawlessly. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. Overall the stay was great! We were there only one night for a wedding, but the host was very responsive and accommodated to us! We asked to drop our things off earlier than the check in time, which the host allowed us. The property was clean, had good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The only con was that at night, it was hot in the bedrooms when sleeping. The host made us aware of this and there was a fan in our room. Just a heads up for anyone looking to book but it was worth the stay!!

Older comfortable house

We are from the Wooster area and returned for a family event. This house met our needs for 4 adults and a teenager. Kitchen was well stocked and we made a full breakfast one morning. The coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, etc. that was provided was a nice touch. House is older, but was clean. You can hear everyone moving around in all of the upstairs bedrooms. We did have one issue with the heat and it took some time for the owner to respond, but they did eventually remedy the situation. I haven’t stayed somewhere in awhile where I couldn’t control the temperature in the house myself.
