Guests will have exclusive access to a dedicated Swim Spa Deck featuring a swim spa, Weber grill, and sun loungers. Unwind with shared access to a fishing pond, game arena, hiking trails, and the Sunset Deck, perfect for enjoying stunning views and outdoor activities.

The swim spa is heated from October through April then converted into a swimming pool from May through September.

Just outside of your cabins is a large area with a series of picnic tables to relax and enjoy meals outdoors. This space is heavily shaded by large trees with a swing chair. There is also a Solo Stove firepit stocked with wood ready for smores or an open fire to gather around.
Shared Outdoor Spaces
Guests at Porchside Retreat share the fishing pond, game arena, hiking trails, and Sunset Deck with other guests on the property. We’ve added a kayak, paddleboard and fishing poles on the Dog Porch for your personal use during your stay.
Pets:
We are pet-friendly and welcome two well-behaved dogs for a non-refundable pet fee of $75 per pet. Please kindly refrain from allowing pets on the furniture during your stay.
Failure to comply may result in an additional $250 cleaning fee.
A refundable $500 security deposit is required for stays over 10 days. This is fully refundable in the event that no damages happened to the property during your stay.
For stays over 30 days, a monthly clean will be required which will be coordinated after booking. Monthly cleans will be additional and billed through your booking platform.
Larger Groups

Greg and I have several vacation rentals in destination spots and love to create amazing experiences for our guests. Our business name is "Skyview Vacations" because we absolutely love beautiful skies (especially watching the sunset). We enjoy spending time with our 4 adult sons and are excited to have a family-centric lake house for those cherished family moments. We enjoy traveling, movies, reading, boating, and pretty much doing anything on the lake.
Why they chose this property
You will be staying at a family ranch on 34 acres outside of city limits in the rolling hills of Texas. The property is right off of highway 51, only a 10 minute drive to Dinosaur Valley State Park and a 25 minute drive to Historic Granbury Square.
