Heavily wooded area directly on the water—secluded but with amenities within easy reach. Pensacola and Gulf Shores, with their famous sugar sand beaches, are a 35-minute drive away. Enjoy great water views. A new amusement park is a 20-minute drive away. The cottage is behind the main house, about 100 feet from the water.

Don't forget the famous world-class fishing right in front of the house.

The house is great, just what you need for a cozy getaway. We fished in the bay in the backyard and it's only about a 30 minute drive to Orange Beach. We enjoyed it very much.

Quick Getaway

We decided to take a last minute trip before the school year started again and happened upon this cottage listing. We were only there for breakfast, to wash up and sleep but it was everything we needed it to be and more. Highly recommend for a quaint place to stay when you want to enjoy more than just “the beach”.

Our little cabin in the woods

We stayed here for our 9 year anniversary and had such a peaceful and relaxing time..perfect place away from the busy towns around but still close enough to everything. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be coming back again!

A QUIET AND COZY GETAWAY

This was the perfect spot for me and my hubby.The cottage was very welcoming, good atmosphere, very clean. I literally watched the sunrise every morning. To see God's magnificent creativity is just breathtaking!!!We went to Quiet Water Beach in Pensacola and we also went to Navaree Beach on two occasions. The drives was not bad at all, very pleasant.We will be returning for our next getaway!

Quiet getaway

We enjoyed a quiet time again at the cozy cottage. Cheryl was very attentive to our needs since it was very cold and ended up getting snow!! Not what we expected on our trip to the gulf, but it was a trip we will not soon forget!

Location and View

The cottage was cool, clean enough, and stocked with essentials. The appeal of this cottage is the back view and location. We most enjoyed sitting and enjoying the view—beautiful sunrises and dolphins playing in the early mornings. The neighborhood is quiet, and the lagoon water is not swimmable. My grandson swam for a minute but could not get past stepping on the debris, but it was good fishing. The picture, posted on VRBO, is of the laundry room, which is the side of the main house. The cottage is not on the water, but close enough, and the shoreline is shared with the main house. The renters were very friendly. You can't beat the quiet location after a full day in the sun. Beaches and limitless activities are within a 30-minute drive. Be sure to visit the Bamahenge, Roman columns, and dinosaurs in the woods near the marina. Ber's Preservers is also great to sample local, unique preserves, spreads, and compotes on a 100-acre farm. Will stay again.

Great place right on the bay!

Property was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Cheryl was very friendly and made check in and out easy. She even gave us some tips about good places to eat that were close by We had everything we needed and it was located in a nice quiet neighborhood with a great view of the bay. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect as always!

This was our 3rd visit and was not disappointed. Its always a great trip. So relaxing and peaceful. Loved spending our evenings out back fishing. We also love Cheryl the property manager she makes sure you have everything you need. We will definitely be back again!

Really enjoyed this lil getaway

The out side doesn’t do the inside justice. Rooms stayed very cold, no issue here, everything worked properly. The view out the back door was beautiful in the mornings.
