Welcome to Crystal Lodge, a stunning log and cedar-sided vacation home nestled on 8.5 private acres just 1 mile from the heart of Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa in beautiful Northern Michigan. Whether you’re seeking a winter retreat with skiing and snowmobiling or a summer getaway with hiking, boating, and outdoor adventures, Crystal Lodge offers the perfect setting for families, friends, and groups.

Cozy and Comfortable Accommodations
This unique vacation rental features two fully-equipped units, with abundant sleeping and living space to accommodate large groups.**FROM APRIL 1ST TO JANUARY 5TH BOTH UNITS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL FEE, offering sleeping arrangements for up to 20 people. DURING SKI SEASON (Jan 5th to March 31st), ONLY ONE UNIT IS INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL FEE, accommodating up to 10 people.

Each unit offers:

3 cozy bedrooms: 2 with queen-sized beds and 1 with a full-sized bed.
Loft areas: Each unit includes a loft with a twin bed and a twin-over-full bunk bed, perfect for extra guests or kids.
2 full bathrooms: One with a shower stall downstairs and one with a tub/shower combination upstairs.
Fully-equipped kitchen: Complete with a center island, dishwasher, and everything you need to prepare meals together.
For larger groups, a custom wall can be opened to combine both units, creating a spacious, interconnected home for up to 20 guests. (Please note: This option is not available during ski season; only one unit is available from December 16th to March 31st.) **Special request for both units may be available for an extra fee for certain dates.**

Winter Wonderland & Year-Round Outdoor Fun
Located on 8.5 acres of pristine land, Crystal Lodge is a true four-season retreat:

Winter: During ski season, take advantage of the nearby Crystal Mountain Resort, just 1 mile away, for skiing, snowboarding, and spa services. Explore the snowy landscape with your snowshoes, cross-country skis, fat bikes, or snowmobiles. After a day of adventure, relax around the outdoor fire pit or unwind inside by the gas fireplace.
Summer: Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, mushroom picking, birdwatching, and plenty of space to simply relax. The property is ideal for outdoor games, family activities, and taking in the beauty of Northern Michigan.
In addition to the property’s expansive outdoor space, Crystal Lodge is centrally located to access some of the best attractions and activities Northern Michigan has to offer, including:

The cabin was lovely; lots of space for family/friends to gather. The kitchen was well-outfitted and even had spices! The open floor plan was great for socializing, and the dining room table extended for game night! We didn’t ski this time around because our family doesn’t ski and the weather wasn’t cooperative, but the location to Crystal Mountain is very convenient. The host was super accommodating and responsive to our communication. Would definitely consider this space for future friend/family get-togethers. Had so much fun that I don’t think I took a single picture!

This was absolutely perfect for a golf weekend at Crystal. There was room on the property to hang out outside, and inside there was plenty of room for 10 people to comfortably relax after a day of golf. Ed was great answering my questions leading up to the stay, and they had a minor issue after the previous guests checked out and had someone out to fix it that afternoon. Extremely responsive hosts, and the property was very well represented in the listing, no surprises. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for something conveniently located near Crystal for far less than onsite lodging.Cheers!

This property was awesome, we rented both sides. The beds and bedrooms were just as described, kitchens were well stocked and appliances were very nice. It has a very large parking lot, we had 5 trucks there and had plenty more room to spare. The owner also had dry firewood and a nice fire pit that came in handy one night. Overall, I highly recommend this house.
