We loved this cozy cabin--very impressed with the thought that went into it. It was super hot outside so we were thrilled to be on the lake with access to a canoe and water toys. Very clean and organized, comfortable beds and well kept yard. The inside of the cabin has lovely artwork with a focus on Woman Lake.
The first thought when looking back is how comfortable we were. Within the first day we relaxed and felt at home. We had all of the conveniences necessary to have a wonderful vacation. The location between Hackensack and Longville is ideal. Woman Lake is a favorite of ours with clear water and great views. We would like to return and stay even longer. This is a great vacation location. If you are looking for a vacation rental you won’t be disappointed.
Though small (only 4 rooms- 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room/kitchen/dining area), Christina's cabin is very clean and well appointed. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed the fire pit, the fully stocked kitchen, and seeing and hearing loons! The only disappointment was that the lake is not suitable for swimming- too rocky and the seaweed started in the shallow area and was plentiful. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our short time there and appreciated Christina letting us rent for only one night. Much better than staying in a hotel!
our stay was great.. cabin was what we saw when booking.. access was easy and very easy to find. peacefull with no neighbors right next door.. just feet away from the dock. this place had no steps, so easier for older folks like ourselves. If we go back to that area... i will absolutely see if this cabin is available for our next stay... the only thing that could help is maybe add a grab bar next to the shower for help. and maybe putting some grib tapes in bathtub, which was a little slippery. otherwise, THANK YOU for such a nice stay...
We were all equally thrilled to stay in this newly renovated, beautifully decorated, clean, cool, and classy cabin. The kids were super excited to find out they had bunk beds and their own TV. The adults were equally thrilled to find every amenity needed, was right at our fingertips. Propane grill, outdoor toys, proximity to town, proximity to woman lake donuts. We will definitely be back!
We also loved the friendly touches the owner provided… we’ll just let that be a surprise for the next guest. Extremely pleased with our stay, and felt like Christina had thought of everything we might need, and then some. A very comfortable setting in the woods, and we will gladly rent again.
Lake time, and s’mores with the kiddos were big highlights. Thanks for making our trip so comfortable!
This cabin was brand new, comes with wifi, and TV's. Right next to the public launch++. There is parking for a boat if you bring one. I brought a 21' crestliner and was able to navigate it around the driveway with a guide, but we could have just as easily left it on the public launch parking lot without issue. You can walk over to the cabin from there. We used to have a cabin in girl lake years ago, and it's much nicer having a cabin right next to the water, it's like 20 feed. There is electrical hookups outside of the cabin to charge a trolling motor (/w 50 ft cable). You can sit on the back of the property with the provided chairs and enjoy the view of the lake. I loved it. We only stayed for two days, but everyone said it felt longer, and we loved every minute. Love the accomodations, and the lake, the lodges sell dockside gas. Womam lake Lodge has a general store you can visit. This area has always been a wonderful get away from the world spot, few modern amenities and it's wonderful. For peak season the lake stays relatively calm, not a ton of boat traffic. But as I recall for the 4th a TON of folks turn out. Loved it, thanks!
