From moment we arrived to the minute we left we absolutely loved everything about staying here! It had everything we needed as a family! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. It's a home away from home!
We had a weekend getaway over Veterans Day weekend. It was a cute house. Location was perfect. Very walkable to restaurants and shops in Irvington. Nice backyard for the dogs to play in. Comfortable beds and living room. Well equipped kitchen, although we didn’t cook. Perfect getaway for a weekend.
This home is just wonderful! Convenient, very clean, and open floor plan! Owner has included many extra touches, including a coffee bar and soap, shampoo, detergent etc. House also has two refrigerators! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 6 days and we will be back!
We were in the area for a family reunion. The house was very comfortable, well furnished and the little extras, i.e., laundry detergent, trash bags, coffee filters, shampoo, were all unexpected. Have stayed at alot of vrbo/air b&b's that didn't furnish these types of items. The common area of the house had a huge kitchen, dining area & big family room.

Safety Concerns…The house is adorable and the beds looked clean. There was so much dust on the fans my asthmatic granddaughter had to go to the doctor after turning it on once. We were not able to use any of them after that. All the window sills had dead bugs and lots of dust in them. Neither of the ovens could be used. The one in the island doesn’t work, and the one on the wall had something spilled in it and never cleaned. We preheated it and it smoked up the whole house. THE WORST things were the stairs. They are so slippery, and steep that we had several falls on them. The back deck also needs to be repaired of rotting wood. And don’t plan on sitting out on the back porch… moldy and dirty on all the outdoor furniture. I gave the owner a couple opportunities to get in touch with me about the problems we faced in the house prior to posting this review, to make sure no one else got injured on their property….and no reply.
Our objective was to attend a party on Sat at Henry's Creek. Hence we didn't have the opportunity to visit local businesses. We did enjoy excellent dinners at The Dredge & Kilmarnock Inn Would like to return in the fall

Great location for Irvington and RWC visits. We were in town for a memorial service and enjoyed the space to catch up with extended family. We did not use the kitchen really but it appeared to be well equipped. The Local was so convenient for coffee and a quick morning bit.
